I'm so tired of all my friends from working at restaurants giving no fricks about their happiness or health. I have their respect and adoration but it just doesn't do much for me. I have no one with whom to discuss exercise, diet, career, education, traveling, or self improvement.
I want to find more like-minded people who want to do better than they are, and will encourage me to do so as well. If I can make progress having no encouragement or camaraderie I think the addition of it will make continuing forth all the easier.
OP is unironically correct. America is too obsessed with being big because everything in America is big. Men want to be bigger than the women and it’s a sad state of affairs when the average woman is larger than the man that exercises.

Its kind of like arguing that college doesn't get you a good job and later in the future wishing you went because you are stuck in a dead end job with responsibilities while your friends who went to school now all have great jobs and future
I've worked in half a dozen hospitals over the past year and a half, and the only other person I've worked with that actually lifted was a nurse in Florida. That dude was fricking massive and obviously roiding, but I can't help but appreciate someone trying to stay IST in a relatively sedentary work environment. The only other big guys you see in hospitals are EMTs, and those guys are usually just fat.
I actually am a waiter/bartender. Being the hulk of the restaurant gets me laid often and the respect of my coworkers. Don’t see the problem.
