    Running is way better. Cycling typically takes much longer to burn a similar amount of calories.

      Indoors cycling , running is too heavy on the joints if you are already fat , and cycling itself is dangerous as frick in normal road scenarios , it is not fricking tour de france where all the roads are closed just for you and theres also the fact that cyclist in general are annoying shitheads

      Only indoor cycling can frick up your muscle balance. If you cycle, invest in L/R power meters to keep the effort balanced.

      Basically, just do both. Cycling is great from Z2 long workouts, running for speed work.

                I get a free gym membership through my college, but I'd probably just buy some cheap weights and do weighted calisthenics if I had to pay money.

    Try uphill running. It makes you sweat quickly and also stimulates your leg muscles, especially calves.
