      I'm all for eating meat, but you should be careful to follow your own advice. Chances are your hunter-gatherer ancestors were not eating anywhere near the quantity saturated fat one would today if you follow the typical paleo or keto diet. I.e., they definitely weren't eating butter, and wild animals are extremely lean compared to what you get in the grocery store today (unless you're only eating actually 100% grass-fed beef.)

        This is nonsense. They ate vastly more meat in terms of poundage than modern people, precisely because it was generally leaner. Their saturated fat intake I would postulate was higher than modern carnivores since their daily activity and thus caloric needs would have been higher. To believe hunter gatherers (who were afterall the height of modern Europeans, with even larger brain sizes) were subsisting on 1500cals of lean meat only is ridiculous.

        Add to that what we do know from indigenous tribes, they all place much higher value on fatty parts of animals than modern people. Because the fat is where the nutrients are.

        There is so much bullshit on the internet already about saturated fat from shills and ideological morons, don't add to it.
