Working out and eating healthy, safe and effective way to lose weight, tradeoffs: less free time, it's uncomfortable
Picrel drug - quick and easy bandaid fix, tradeoffs: not yet known
Thalidomide - ...
Yeah, I'll stick with diet and exercise; thanks.
I would quite literally take that trade idgaf
effective? lmao
effective - successful in producing a desired result
Next.
>effective - successful in producing a desired result
The desired result would be a decrease in obesity on a national scale - the opposite is the case so it's clearly not effective.
Your a sucker
>Working out and eating healthy, safe and effective way to lose weight
It may work for some individuals but on the global scale people keep getting fatter and fatter so it's clearly not an effective way to treat this condition.
Societal obesity epidemic != obesity
Obesity is an ailment that afflicts the individual. Society/humanity suffers from an obesity epidemic, but society isn't the thing that's obese.
Obesity is effectively treated with diet and exercise. A global obesity problem is fixed by treating the individuals with obesity, and developing programs and educational materials that help prevent obesity - diet and exercise are key in both cases.
But, sure... let's just take the shortcut and become even weaker and less disciplined on average. I'm sure that will work in the long run.
The problem lies even further, a healthy diet demands not only education but also government funds in terms of food prices. It is way cheaper to buy carbs and sugar packed foods, to illustrate in poor nations starvation are giving place to obesity paradoxically.
I agree that in populational terms Ozempic or even bariatric surgery will not solve obesity epidemic
I think my mum has this (either this or something similar) and shes lost tons of weight, she says she just doesnt want junk food anymore and it makes her feel sick and gives her food to me however my theory is that its just another way for her to overfeed me subtly in attempt to stop me from getting yoked.
Mine came in the mail today and it's really fricking small it was surprising. I have to do a diet break, then I start either the 9th or the week after~ish
Longterm idk, my biggest fear is something with diabetes.
In reality anybody who uses it TO lose weight will rebound, anybody who uses it WITH losing weight will be fine provided they aren't moronic. I spent so many hours watching "muh weightloss journy" and all of them insta binge after getting off it. I have my habits to maintain my weight, I just dread cutting again after what happened.
It stimulates insulin, so it fixed that, some cardiovascular shit too. But it makes your GI slow immensely, and gives you that like, bloatish full feeling all day (allegedly).
What a lot of people don't know is that it actually also changes your brain while taking it, something with GLP-1 stimulation, so you become relatively food averse, as if you just ate a meal. It also shuts off dopamanergic pathways in the brain so you do less hedonistic shit: binge, overspend, drink, etc.
I am using it cuz I've already lost 250 pounds legit, and I want to test it for my obese parents (as well as get shredded lmao). I'm also more interested on the brain chemistry side of things. Pop this shit with some caffeine, you go into focus overdrive, this may change the way business is ran, granted you can stand the sides.
I pray to GOD nobody with an ED gets this though, I'm already pretty fricked after yo-yoing for a minute here, god knows if I go off the deep end and starve myself or not bros..
holy frick, deserved as shit.
Dad found the stuff, I didn't know what to say. Still don't. Hmmm...
Some studies show that GLP-1 levels are related to postprandial satiation signals to the CNS. Therefore GLP-1 receptors agonist (such as Ozempic) helps reducing food intake.
Early side effects are indeed GI symptoms e.g. nausea, vomits and diarrhea. Rare clinical situations, that are not entirely sure if it is a side effect or not, are pancreatitis and thyroid tumors (the second in animal models).
Either way, if you alread lost some weight and are changing your lifestyle I guess you are in the right way and Ozempic will just speed up the process
Honestly bro, I don't need it. Like, I'm not coping, I don't need it. I've been losing for 2 fricking years from a fat homosexual to now. I am only maintaining because I HAVE TO atm. Like I said, I cut to hard to long, binged up (got very ravenous, like I was waking up eating food out of the fricking garbage) 20 pounds, got scared, yo-yo'd slowly up 20 more. I learned about the physiological effects of cutting, and have a plan, EVEN IF IT DOESN'T WORK, this is just plan A. I can maintain on 2200 if needed, and would prefer 2500+, I'm currently 3000ish.
I'm here now, I plan on cutting, and keeping it to maintain for about 3-6 more months. I know getting off immediately is a death sentence, and I'm using it as a tool to create a large deficit (counted, with proper macros).
I want to see if the hype holds true, how hard I can cut, and if I can get my parents to use it, they are both 300 and like 350 respectively. I was 450 at 16, 240 at 19 now.
Got it, just be carefull when you stop taking but it seems that you are a guy with a plan, so go for it
Aight I'm sold. How do I get it
be fat and old
its a peptide. google it
Once you stop to take it regain is expected. So, unless you change your lifestyle while taking it, everything you lost will come back
I REALLY hope this has some extremely bad side effect because i dont want to get mogged by mental fatties
This is something morons are going to have to use repeatedly, you have to deal with lifestyle changes if you want to quit being obese. There's no way around that.
>IST always complains about fat people and the obesity pandemic
>science comes save the day
>"no, not like this"
I heard your anus constantly leaks shit if you take this.
Mounjaro is way better for weight loss
mono or saturated fat increases GLP1. pufa does not. this drug will probably turn out to cause cancer and other horrible side effects in a few years
never mind
>Serious side effects of Ozempic can include:
diabetic retinopathy (damaged blood vessels in the eye)
gallbladder disease, including gallstones or cholecystitis (gallbladder pain and swelling)
kidney problems
pancreatitis* (swelling of the pancreas)
increased risk of thyroid cancer*†
allergic reaction*
hypoglycemia* (low blood sugar)
Contrave (different than OP) is welbutrin + naltrexone. Makes you literally not care about food anymore except for pure nourishment. Idk why more don't use it who are mega-fat.
>fatten your populace with vegetable oil
>lie to them about what is causing their obesity so they have no idea why they are fat
>put them on a drug that makes them feel nausea as their only way out
Do you think these people ever stop and consider how evil they are
intermittent fasting (16/8)
80g fat
1.2g protein per kg of bodyweight
rest carbs to fill in 2000 calories
as much fiber daily as your body can handle without bloating
a hot beverage in the middle of your eating window
macros spaced out throughout the day
There, the secret sauce to losing weight. I easily lost 140+ lbs and counting on this. It's not fricking hard you fricking morons. Count your macros. Nobody is being hungry again on that much protein.
My buddy just tried this shit and he said he was extremely constipated.
