      You forgot that he wrote cuck erotica. I honestly don’t respect him much but he does teach the main lifts pretty well. And yes low bar squat builds hamstrings. The hamstrings are one of the major hip extensors, and anyone who has done a few sets of low bar squats will tell you the hamstrings are absolutely involved.

        Hamstrings oppose knee extension whereas the glutes and adductors do not. Similar to how the rectus femoris opposes hip extension while the vastus, lateralis, medialis, and intermedius do not. Hypertrophy studies also show almost no hamstring or rectus femoris growth from squats in trained lifters.

          I never go heavy on leg press, that’s what squats are for
          I go really high volume with moderate weight on leg press. It’s a different feel altogether. Leg press obliterates my legs without an ounce of strain on my back so it’s a very good machine imo.

    Sorry, but I just can't see how it would create any difference in regards to muscles worked when the position of the bar is only moved a measly inch downward. They feel exactly the same as each other when I do them. I personally just squat somewhere in the middle of high and low. Why do people make such a big deal out of it?
