Dedication creates motivation, not the other way around. Just start going and soon you'll feel bad over missing a day.

I need to move across the country, so putting all of my shit into a moving truck, and then I need to use a chainsaw to clear a few acres of trees. I have to get stronger.

cause you psyche yourself out with your autistic bullshit. Just go and if you can only do 4/5 reps who fricking cares. Do what you can and next time do better.

Reduce barriers as much as possible. I built a gym in my basement, set aside time aside in the mornings when I'm free to lift, and use a little chemical motivation with pre workout. It's really hard to start sometimes but you'll get into it after a few minutes

I will live longer, as well as die quicker and more gracefully. Same reason I do 5 hours of cardio a week. Exercise is also the ONLY way to prevent age-related IQ loss.

Can confirm. My grandpa was moving around and doing stuff at the age of 93. He literally only started to decline severely within the few weeks or months leading up to his death after he fell and broke some bones. For his entire life before that he was always just capable and moving around. He didn't work out, he just moved around a lot and did things all day

I am full of disgust and hatred for others in the modern world.
I want to be better than others.

It's extremely difficult to do something without a reason or need to do it so. For me personally I grew up very skinny and I hated it. No one respects you or looks up to you and those strong feelings developed in youth never leave you. So I have a chip on my shoulder which gives me a compulsion to lift

    >What motivates you to go?
I genuinely enjoy lifting weights. I feel amazing throughout the rest of my day even if I beat the shit out of myself working out.

I dunno about eyerape but I do enjoy some slim tight girlbutt in latex as a little extra motivation to hammer out an extra 30mins to add to my routine. Still thinking about this 9/10 redheads fat ass I noticed last week. Needed god's help to not be a creeper after seeing that.

I find that the most reliable way is to go together with a gym buddy.
If I made excuses, I'd disappoint him. Can't do that.

I lift so that I can enforce my will on others through violence
    >b-but what if they have a gun
    1. A IST guy with a gun is going to be better off than a skinnyfat moron with a gun, or else the military wouldn't even bother with fitness standards
    2. My ultimate goal is to be able to knock out everyone with one punch faster than they can pull out a gun

You don't go because you want to, because few people ALWAYS want to. Just decide you have to. And you'll go if you really have to.

Honestly, habit as well as using /fat/ to hold myself accountable to making progress towards getting to a healthy weight. Once I started going 4-6 times a week by month 2 it became habitual especially once I saw progress.
You're gonna make it OP, ya just gotta put that bit of drive in to start

Extreme self-hate got me started working out, but now that I have achieved pretty close to my goal physique the thought of regressing back to the fat piece of shit I was keeps me going. I'm addicted to the 'mires (unfortunately exclusively from other dudes, I'm still extremely unattractive).
