Oh good, I thought it was only me. Any chemistry gays know what the frick is happening? I assume it's some kind of bacteria eating the whey, but what in the actual frick causes that odor?
Why the smell happens or why it stays in there even after you wash it? >why the smell happens
Yeah they break the protein down, same as in your intestines and armpits
>why it sticks around after washing
The plastic bottles are made out of that non-bpa plastic and it's shit. It always absorbs things like grease and the nasty waste products of those bacteria. Buy steel or glass like
i think it gets stuck in the plastic or something
maybe a glass or stainless steel one would work better
Whey smells bad in general. If you’re buying the overpriced refuse of vanilla or chocolate flavored cheese making you’re NGMI. Unironically the vegan stuff is superior in every way, but protein powder is itself a meme.
Doesn't happen to me. For reference, I rinse out the shaker once I get home from the gym, and then I run the dishwasher at night.
I use optimum nutrition gold standard double rich chocolate for protein powder.
Soak it in hot water with some bleach
I’m doing that but with vinegar
Vinegar is definitely better than bleach, which is poison to most forms of biological life.
I do the same thing with my boxing pads and gloves: Hot, soapy, water, followed by a twelve hour vinegar bath.

I can smell this picture and I haven't used a Blender Bottle in years
do you morons not own blenders or something
This is the final solution. Especially if you blend it with ice cream and frozen strawberries and bananas
you have to rinse them immediately after use and flick off any water. More protein more bacteria.

I dont eat enough whole food though
Change it
No you don’t. Akshally what’s your diet and your macros? Unless you’re eating like shit you don’t need protein powder
I use the protein powder and 16 oz of organic milk as a meal. Cheap and quick honestly I'm lazy.
>protein powder is itself a meme
Why? I don't like eggs and need a nice little 30g protein bump
>vegan superior in any way
Entire post immediately disregarded. May god have mercy on your soul
Explain why whey protein is better. Pro tip: you can’t because the heavy metals lowered your IQ
Literally just wash the fricking thing daily you lazy bastard.
That smell doesn't go away from one wash, even a dish washer

Well it doesn't matter anymore because I just consoomed a stainless steel one off of amazon
