I can only really shave anything when I'm doing large amounts of cardio and taking a shower after. I don't think my pores get clean enough unless I'm sweating and really opening them shits then it's pretty much a non-issue.

Did you shave upwards? Apparently if you shave downwards then you wont get ingrown hairs and acne.
shaving with the direction your hair grows helps but its only part, moisturize and exfoliate as well

I’ve only shaved my facial/head hair, but I rarely do it, and as a 5’0 male I don’t see how having chest/arm/leg/ass hair would be attractive (personally). I don’t have tons of hair like a LoTR dwarf so it just looks unappealing.

Just use a trimmer and cut it to 1-8th of an inch, no one can tell the difference anyway.
