This is why you need to drink your milk and chew on tough foods all throughout childhood, so your jaw doesn't come out underdeveloped and incapable of accommodating a perfectly natural number of teeth.
t. wisdom teeth grew in just fine and never had to be removed
I had full 32 teeth, only issue was the W.Th just got infected over time for no clear reason, they were taken off in last surgery, I developed too strong of a bite through them now biting down shit with my regular teeth just fricking hurts a bit. -.-'
wrong, i drank like a liter of milk every day up to like 14 (i'm 22 and still drink it every day, just not as much) and to this day eat all kinds of meat, didn't stop me from being a chinlet/jawlet, plus my teeth are kinda crowded too.
worst thing is my parents and grandparents have either chad or normal tier jawlines, tough luck they didn't have enough money to at least get braces while growing up
yep, my left wisdom tooth grew sideways but no issues so far. of course the dentist told me to get it removed. yet 2 years later no fricking issues or pain at all. oral surgeons are a fricking meme.
Eat meat. chew as much as you can. have proper mouth posture
There's a debate amongst dentists on this. Mine for instance said to have it removed only if it starts causing pain, but if it's fine right now it's okay to leave in as he saw no ill effects (no infection, molars are not being impacted, etc). Vaguely regular cleaning at the dentist would be enough to keep an eye on it.
>grow up with braces and having the orthodontist tell me my wisdom teeth could get impacted at some point >bypass that shit with a healthy set
Mission complete
I was told this as well. They also told me you wouldn't have all your teeth at 25 in preindustrial society so that's why people get impacted wisdom teeth. There is meant to be extra room. I drank a lot of milk, ate well and visited a good dentist regularly in my childhood (my family is rich) so I know it's not diet.

>They also told me you wouldn't have all your teeth at 25 in preindustrial society
Completely false propaganda spread around to cope with the destructive nature of industrialized society. Pic related is the state of un-industrialized aborigines' teeth when eating their native diet. The introduction of processed foods and refined sugar is why people lose their teeth, it is NOT natural or normal.

Sorry, should have been more specific: native diet on the left page, industrialized diet on the right page.

so pic related means eat a bunch of hard food that needs good chewing?
Could this be offset by regular chewing of mastic gum or something?

Lmao they are no where near the inferior alveolar nerve. Your dentist is a pussy.
imagine you live in renaissance europe where doctors thought cutting your body is good for you, and know no hygiene or anestesia.
heh nothing personnnel
Get them out as soon as you can. I waited until I was in my thirties to have mine extracted, the pain was so intense I had to take junkie-level opioids (which was kinda fun, I admit, but not worth it).
Lol I got one extracted under local anesthesia (didn't work, I felt everything haha), but I felt no pain afterwards and recovered after a good night's rest.
You have never experienced the pain of impacted wisdom teeth. I had mine removed and after 8 years my jaw finally feels normal. This isn't israeli profiteering, for people with more compact skull structures it's the only way to avoid horrible pain.
weak processed foods during childhood development have led us to have under-developed jaws that cannot accommodate wisdom teeth. it isnt natural to have that tooth growing sideways (impacted) in the first place, and should be removed.
It's called evolution. Wisdom teeth don't have purpose anymore. Like chest hair. What the frick do I have hair on my chest for? To shield me from the elements? I can just wear a jacket. Fricking useless chest hair. Frick them.
>Wisdom teeth don't have purpose anymore.
They absolutely do, it's not their fault your jaw is underdeveloped and can't accommodate a full set of teeth.
That purpose was for less evolved humanoids that had different diets. The human design isn't perfect, vestigial traits affects us like glitches all the time. Wisdom teeth are an example of that.
>That purpose was for less evolved humanoids that had different diets.
Yeah, because the modern diet of processed goyslop is just such a great thing for humans.
Protip - human jaws didn't suddenly change in the last 100 years. You're absolutely right in the sense that modern diets are fricking awful for us and our teeth, but the size of the human jaw became smaller over thousands of years. You should be blaming agriculture first and foremost. The goyslop is going to result in even changes that will be much more evident in a few hundred years.
I don't believe it's that humans have genetically smaller jaws, we've just stopped properly developing them.

Behavior is part of natural selection. Additionally, almost everything is tied into your genetics, including your personality. It's simply more efficient energy-wise to not need to develop large laws. Do you think a dude who spends his life reaching for bananas in a tree is going to grow taller? The jaw of a modern human would only be influenced in terms of muscle development by your diet.

Yes, and I'm saying the amount of influence that has is drastic.

The size of your jaw in relation to the number of teeth it can house is all about your bone structure, not muscle.

They influence each other, strong jaw muscles pull on your jaw bones in a way that can allow them to grow more freely. On top of that, nutrition plays a huge role in the development of bone structure. You seem to be operating under the assumption that every person reaches their maximum genetic potential during development when that is often not the case, there are lots of factors that can stunt development and industrialization has been compounding such problems with fake food diets that don't provide adequate nutrition for truly complete development.
I used to think the same thing, I had teeth just like OPs pic. Luckily I got them removed for free when I was in the army, and my quality of life has improved a lot since then
Remove them OP, believe me. I didint even though the doc said it. It grew out, cracked one of my back teeth and I have to get a root treatment which cost me like $250 (because I live Europe they payed 2/3 of the payment) so it could be even more expensive for you if you’re American.
Also I had unbelievable pain and I broke a lot of bones, but the teeth pain was much worse than that
Mine were the same way, I wouldn't be worried. I didn't have any pain or whatever but I got them removed anyway. Afterwards I had the most pain I ever had in my life in my throat.
>tfw dad is a dentist and did all my procedures since I was a small child >Never minded any of them >Time comes to remove my wisdom teeth >He does the surgery >Shit hurts like hell for three days >Irrationally blame him because he did the surgery for a month
I finally understand why so many doctors refuse to work on their relatives
Yeah get that shit taken out OP, I waited too long with mine and it was twisted and grown towards my other teeth to the point the dentist had to cut it out in 4 smaller pieces and the stitches were a fricking ass show of their own, becoming undone twice and making me take a cab to the first aid to get them put back to nonbleeding state.
Mine look like that and I just waited. They eventually erupted and are starting to turn up straight. After they turn up some more I'll get them pulled, but it was better this way than getting surgery while they were impacted and risking nerve damage.
my dentist said i need all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. 1 of them is growing in weird but the other 3 have come in normally. they all apparently have cavities in them. what do you think? i'm 24 years old.
first of all get a second/third opinion, if they say the same thing do it, if possible don't remove them all, like just 2 so your face doesnt get all fricked up, if they all say you need to remove all 4 then you gotta bite the bullet and do it
>my dentist said i need all 4 of my wisdom teeth out
Dentists are only interested in the contents of your wallet and making you think your wisdom teeth need to be extracted is a solid way to get their claws in.
having them removed for no reason is as dumb as circumcision at birth without any infections or anything dangerous
My mom has both her wisdom teeth on and she is 45, never had a problem with it. My brother had them removed though because of infection or smth, the other brother didn't. I think that you should not worry about it if it doesn't bother you.
>the characteristic that has existed without issue for hundreds of thousands of years is the mutated defect >not the characteristic that arose in response to the industrial revolution ~200 years ago
Uh-huh, right.
Leave them if they aren't coming in weird
Take them out of they are
People saying never get them taken out are braindead, probably wouldn't get a appendectomy either, much more chad and jestermaxx pilled to die from easily fixable medical conditions
my dentist would always point them out but never say anything about it. Nothing about treatments or ask me questions about them. So I assume they aren't a problem if they aren't causing any issues
All four are like that with me. I did start having bad toothaches from one of them so I had it pulled a few years back. No issues on the others yet. I'm 36.
Extraction varies. Yours doesn't sound bad so it'll likely being $75-200 and can be done by the dentist with local anesthesia. If it's more complicated (major tooth impaction, you have to go to an oral surgeon, etc), it could cost $800 and up, but this really doesn't sound like your case.
I just got a root canal, crown, and cavity filled, all in the same tooth. While I was there they took a shit load of X-rays and found that all my wisdom teeth came in and grew perfect without a single issue. She said that was really rare. Go figure.
Nah, dentist always try to convince people that they need to be removed. But unless you're feeling pain back there or its completely fricking up the rest of your teeth it shouldn't be an issue at all.
Only if they get infected or if there’s a cyst.
I get infections like once a year and use mouthwash until it goes away like two days later
You should get them removed though that problem will not solve itself
This is why you need to drink your milk and chew on tough foods all throughout childhood, so your jaw doesn't come out underdeveloped and incapable of accommodating a perfectly natural number of teeth.
t. wisdom teeth grew in just fine and never had to be removed
I have more teeth (34) than normal though
Should have drank even more milk and chewed even more tough food.
bullshit, my mom did not know how to cook meat and it was always like chewing leather. and 3/4 of my wisdom teeth do not fit.
I am a chinlet and never had to remove my wisdom teeth
we're talking about jaws here not chins
i have a decent chin but my jaws are bit weak, like ryan gosling's and my wisdoom teeths fit perfectly
I had full 32 teeth, only issue was the W.Th just got infected over time for no clear reason, they were taken off in last surgery, I developed too strong of a bite through them now biting down shit with my regular teeth just fricking hurts a bit. -.-'

you have gyno?
not at all, but i don't have clear skin, not sure if related tho

i have side ways wisdomteeth and have a good jaw and chin
Not good enough, I guess.
i have a great jaw but one of my wisdom teeth came in sideways. it could be genetic because my maternal grandfather had the same shit.
>grow up with braces and having the orthodontist tell me my wisdom teeth could get impacted at some point

Dunno, ask DIY board
How old are you?
22
Get them extracted, also post the whole panorama.
Its El Mutanto.
If u were you id get them all extracted (39,38,48,49).
Since youre under 25 the bone will likely heal well enough
I had all 4 removed last year, all grew perfectly horizontal to my jaw. Paid a hefty sum but I could eat normally the second day after the procedure
Did they tell you anything about potential nerve damage. cus your teeth look like their mine and that's what they told me.
I was told this as well. They also told me you wouldn't have all your teeth at 25 in preindustrial society so that's why people get impacted wisdom teeth. There is meant to be extra room. Get them out fricking moron
They're not even that hard anon. Just make sure your surgeon use plasma from your blood in those lower wisdom tooth.
imagine you live in renaissance europe where doctors thought cutting your body is good for you, and know no hygiene or anestesia.

I had the same 90° turn and got them removed. Apparently they can fuse with the teeth in front of them if they are packed too tightly.
God I love having a large enough jaw to house functional straight wisdom teeth
Doesn't seem natural to pull them out.
This. If nature gave you set amount of teeth then there was a purpose for it and it wasn't for some israelite to profit from them.
You have never experienced the pain of impacted wisdom teeth. I had mine removed and after 8 years my jaw finally feels normal. This isn't israeli profiteering, for people with more compact skull structures it's the only way to avoid horrible pain.

Turn on women, b***hes love body hair
Except for zoomer women it seems (pov: im 19 and everyone I see is geting rid of their body hair because its "gross" according to females)
It's gross on twinky pale 19 year old boys but looks good if you have muscle.

It sucks. Fricked up my teeth alignment. Needed Invisalign to fix
Had an x-ray like that around 5 years ago and they said I needed to remove it.
never went back lol

i got too keep all of my wisdom teeth i laugh at all toothlets
Surprisingly common for bottom wisdom teeth.
Just get them removed, bro
I've had impacted wisdom teeth for over a decade and they've never once caused me issues.
You're only in trouble if they get infected.
Mine didn't come out completely they're 20% bent inside my mouth.
Wtf is sideways dude you gotta get the checked
having them removed for no reason is as dumb as circumcision at birth without any infections or anything dangerous

Don't let them get extracted, be like a real redpilled chad and let your whole mouth rot. Extracting is for leftist cucks.
>be like a real redpilled chad and let your whole mouth rot
Some of us actually have space in our mouths to fit wisdom teeth with zero problems.
And he doesnt, why are you pretending to be moronic?
Not my problem.
Congrats on your mutated defect. Wait till your 60 and see your dental bill moron.
>the characteristic that has existed without issue for hundreds of thousands of years is the mutated defect

I have one like that and it's coming in fine, the only issue was when the gum tore and bled a bunch but that's in the past now.

it seems possible to be able to alter the path of yours to grow normally, but it'll rely a bit on luck and it'll possibly cost more than removing.
Not unless it starts eruption from under the gum and food gets stuck there, or if it starts to push the neighbouring tooth (seeing as you had braces).
