Can we discuss showers? My showers take too long, like 15 minutes + drying time. I want to cut 10 minutes off this.
Currently I enter the shower, wet myself fully, shampoo my hair. Then I do two passes over my body, the first pass with a bar of soap to get soap on everything, the second with a soapy loofa to actually scrub and clean.
Problem is this feels like I'm doing three full passes over my body (wet/soap/scrub), but if I just use a soapy loofa it dries out quickly and loses its soapiness. I don't really want to switch to shower gel cause it usually has a very strong fragrance to it which makes me smell like a teenage boy, plus it's overpriced.
Any tips for time efficient showers?
just shower like Parisians: only on Thursdays and without soap
showers are gay, take a bath
I take quick showers in the morning with very little gel on my body (no hair washing), then dry myself with a big, warm towel. It takes me roughly 10mins.
Don't shampoo your hair everyday. It is bad for your scalp and hair structure. Use a seperate shampoo for your hair, don't use this 3in1 bullshit.
>don't shampoo your hair every day
but when I wake up in the morning it always a mess, sticking up everywhere, i think it's from the way I sleep, plus tossing and turning, if I didn't wash it I'd look homeless
Get a haircut
Wet yourself by standing under the water, then rub soap on the loofa and use that to exfoliate. Add more soap to the loofa when needed.
Don't soap your body often, it's bad for you.
you only need a scrub like every two weeks dude, just water and bodywash in your pits is enough for maintenance
One hand does the soap, one hand does the loofa. Boom, 2 passes in one.
>autism: the thread
Anyway
>get water warm: 30s
>get water warm: 30s
>shampoo: 1m
>soap pass: 1m
>soap pass crotch and armpits: 1m
>towel drying: 1m
5m shower should be enough for everyone.
you don't wash your feet or ass?
Oh baby. What parts of your body does the water and soap get into? Do you stroke as you wash your bbc?
I shower very thoroughly every 2 days and wash my hair with only white laundry soap.
I first soak in water, then soap my entire body for 30 seconds then wash it all away. Theres absolutely no oil or smell remaining in my skin after and I can work out or anything and not smell for a week if I need to
Don’t use shampoo unless you’re sweating profusely. It strips your hair of its natural oils which makes your hair go into hyper production for oil. You only need to shampoo about once every week or so, otherwise water alone is good enough. The downside to this is it will take up to 3 months before your hair’s oil production goes back to normal.
My routine is simply standing under the water to wet myself (with focus on hair), then I put a random amount of soap (usually quite a bit) on a scrubber and go over everything. I recently started using conditioner in hopes that it makes a difference and I think it does, but I’m not too sure.
>he thinks 15 minutes is a long shower
I've taken 30 minute ones and the average is 20 minutes.
Try a cold or tepid shower. Youll be suprised at how quickly you manage everything.
I am afraid of showers
>get in shower
>wet hair
>add conditioner to hair
>stand around in the shower enjoying the hot water
>soap up your face
>rinse everything off
>don't forget to wash your ass crack
that's literally it.
You can do four full passes in less than 15 minutes if you really want. It sounds like it's not about the number of passes but how long each pass is taking you.
Once the water is warm, wet yourself then go straight to the next step. Don't sit there enjoying the warm water (unless you have the time for it).
