cold showers dont do anything but avoid hot showers, fricks up your skin

1 product would be a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and ceramides morning and night

2 products would be moisturizer morning and night and moisturizing sunscreen literally any time you are going in the sun with a uv index more than 2

3 products would be same as above except instead of moisturizer at night use a retinol moisturizer at night

Most of the shit is a scam. Hell, I even took a routine from some famous b***h on youtube just to see and hardly a difference in a year's time. The ONE true hack that I found out that works is to just moisturize. Specifically, before bed and before you step out. NEVER miss a day of this. Just do that and I guarantee you will see some results.

which moisturizer specially? there's different kinds even for Nivea

Caring for yourself isn't gay, there's nothing homoerotic about not wanting to look like a prune by 25-30. Put in the work or don't do it at all, you need to commit or else it won't work. There isn't a simple "one product" solution.
      Morning:
      1. Cleaning
      2. Toning
      3. Moisturising
      4. Sunscreen

      Evening:
      1. Oil cleanser
      2. Facial Cleanser (if the next thing youll use is toner, leave it wet if mask, leave it dry if exfoliator, leave it wet if chemical exfoliator or serum or moisturiser leave dry)
      3. Exfoliator
      4. Wash Off Mask (only if physical exfo)
      5. Toner
      6. Essence
      7. Serum
      8. Sheet mask (skip serum if you'll use this)
      9. Eye cream
      10. Moisturiser (morning and evening)
      11. Night pack/mask
      12. Oil

Anon, I'm trying to give you good advice. Don't do a routine at all if you're not actually going to commit. Come on, this is like running 2 miles everyday thinking you're going to get big. You have to put in the money, time and effort for skincare to actually work just like with working out. Do it or frick off. That's it you fricking moron.

If you want a "bare-bones" routine then it would have to be comprised of four products. Cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen. There's no way around not using sunscreen or not using a moisturizer so if you're really lazy you can probably just skim it down to those two. However, sunscreen is a b***h to wash off with water. There's not going to be one product that specifically suits you though, I don't know you but you can probably start by going down to your big box store and browsing through their skincare/sunscreen section and find a moisturizer that sounds right to you same with sunscreen. If you go with just moisturizer though there won't be any point to using it because your skin will just end up getting fricked up by the sun. You insufferable little gay.

You either sell these products for a living or you’re really bought into the scam.
You don’t need to use “toner” and you don’t need to moisturize your face unless you suffer from dry skin. And you don’t need some special expensive “cleanser” either.

      >cold showers dont do anything
Bullshit. Cold showers are excellent for skin health. The cold causes increased blood flow to the skin, which means the cells get nourished with oxygen and nutrients. It's the the same reason your skin gets that red flushed look.

Cold showers make your blood rush to your heart and brain to keep your internal organs warm. When you get hot your blood rushes to your skin to cool it off. Idiot.

One should use an alcohol-free antibacterial toner with a water-moistened cotton ball to normalize the skin. Applying a moisturizer is the final step. Splash on water before applying an emollient lotion to soften the skin and seal in the moisture. Next apply Gel Appaisant, also made by Pour Hommes, which is an excellent, soothing skin lotion. If the face seems dry and flaky - which makes it look dull and older - use a clarifying lotion that removes flakes and uncovers fine skin (it can also make your tan look darker). Then apply an anti-aging eye balm (Baume Des Yeux) followed by a final moisturizing “protective” lotion.

it's gonna lessen the activation of the sebaceous glands by androgens (DHT), which reduces the occurrence of acne and oily skin. Additionally, its slightly estrogenic which sounds like a big turn off but a little estrogen has its place in the functioning of the male body, specifically joint maintenance but also hair and skin maintenance. A little extra estrogen can make skin look a lot softer and smoother while also improving hair. Before this gets pounced on by the cult of anons on here who put way too much stock into eliminating estrogen from their body and maximizing muh androgens, it's all about striking an ideal balance between dht+e in the male body

“Skin Care” as it is commonly thought of today is a gigantic fricking racket.
I want to smash my head against a wall every time I see someone complain “I have a twelve step skin care routine and my skin always breaks out still!”
It’s because that’s what the fricking shit you’re putting on your face is designed to do.
Use a natural bar of soap like Dr Squatch or something similar and then get some salicylic acid facewash to use sparingly if you get really greasy.
“Skin care” is a solution to a problem that is perpetuated by the solution

    my skin was so fricked that even the gentlest moisturizers made it burn. found out my moisture barrier was fricked. fixed it by;

with just a little gentle facewash at night; cerave foaming facial cleanser
    >>thin amount of petroleum jelly

    skin felt worlds better when I woke up. blew my mind. kept doing it and soon moisturizers didn't irritate me, so I switched to;

    >>wash at night, leave skin a bit moist
    , let it sink in
    jelly, sleep on back

i'm testing moisturizers. currently trying cerave pm facial moisturizing lotion at night and vanicream lotion during the day.

if you're going to be out in the sun for longer than 15-30 minutes, put on sunscreen. some will leave a white cast.

washing your face in the morning can be good for some, and bad for others. Don't use hot water.

Yea just do regular cardio, drink lots of water, get reasonable amount of sun but not too much, don't wash with soaps more than twice a week. Done.

In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Does moisturizer make your skin feel oily? I hate that sensation.

      Anonymous

Yes, that’s why there is no need to use it unless your skin is so dry that it hurts.
Your skin is an organ that is very very good at maintaining its “balance”, it produces oils to handle dryness, which protects it from cracking.
If your skin isn’t producing enough oil, that is a problem.
If your skin is already producing its oils properly, all you’re doing by adding “moisturizer” regularly is telling the skin “no need to produce any oil, I’ve got you covered.”
You’re literally training your cells to stop doing their job. Then if you somehow forget or can’t apply your moisturizer for a time, you’ll have a problem because your skin won’t know how to moisturize itself.
Drink more water, buddeh. And take one shower a day, with some natural bar soap like African Black Soap.
Unless you have a legitimate skin condition, you’re just fricking up your skin’s “ecosystem” by applying all these treatments

If your skin isnt oily or needs the extra boost, use a lotion
If it is oily find a cleanser for it to control it
Don't use shower water if your area has harsh water
If you need a cleanser use a face towel
vitamin c and sunscreen (30 is best or higher, i think mineral feels better) NO MATTER WHAT (unless allergic or reacted badly)
Find an exfoliating rag or brush so scrub away nasties
Always use something without fragrance even if your skin isnt sensitive. It made my friends and my skin sensitive for using shit with too many ingredients or fragrance.
Also never be rough with it even when using a rag or exfoliating brush/rag for your body unless you are moronic

    It's all genetics.

Creams are a cope. I'm almost 50 and I have smooth healthy skin. All I do is wash my face when I wake up and once before I go to bed, with fricking water.

Wash your fricking pillowcase every week like you would your laundry.

Smoking and sun exposure will frick you either way.

    >wash face with facial cleanser ideal for your skin needs
    >Apply Hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary (this brand seems to be the cheapest and strongest HUA serum out there, it's on amazon)
    >Apply Tretinoin, either prescribed or ordered without prescription from online indian pharmacy (it's legit). Start at lowest concentration strength and work your way up because sides can be extreme redness and flaking
    >Finish with pretty much any facial moisturizer that isn't a whole bunch of garbage
    >Use a defoliating scrub pad once a week

Bonus: get a microneedle roller and do that once a week for consistently nice looking skin. Just takes a bit of effort

Just taking a cold shower is not going to make your skin look particularly nice, and if you want nice skin you're gonna have to actually use some products. Stop being afraid of being perceived as a homo, or look like an ugly loser the rest of your life

      1) Cut out sugars
      2) Wash your fricking pillowcase. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
      3) Stay out of the sun.
      4) Drink water. Drink more water. Keep drinking water.
      5) Actually get 8 hours of sleep a night.
      6) Stop smoking. Stop vaping. Just stop.
      7) Minimize sun exposure to your face.

No amount of israelite cream and face washing will save you if you are not already obeying the above. If you actually (not lying to me or yourself) follow the above 7 steps and you STILL have a fricked up face, only then should you go to a derm and see what kind of cum needs to be spread on your genetic failure of a face.

            >I think sugar in small amounts is fine, but added sugar (candy, soda, etc.) in high amounts fricks your shit up
            I don't get this.
Sugar is 50% glucose and 50% fructose.
All carbs convert right into glucose in high amounts.
Fruits in particular can have high amounts of glucose and fructose in a similar ratio to sugar.
what is it about sugar that is bad when all carbs are basically sugar.
Doesn't that mean we should not eat carbs or keep them to a minimum?
what about people like Ray Peat that promote eating lots of sugar?
My theory is that carbs are only bad when mixed with fats in a meal as this triggers the randle cycle which causes high blood sugar, high triglycerides and high inflammation.
This is why diets like carnivore and vegan are considered healthy according to their proponents.
The carnivore diet is high in protein and fats, and very low in carbs so it doesn't trigger the randle cycle.
The vegan diet is high in protein and carbs but low in fats which doesn't trigger the randle cycle.
The bad diet seems to be a "balanced diet" or standard american diet where you eat lots of carbs and fats in the same meal.
Goyslop like mcdonalds and pizza are both high in fats and carbs and seem to be associated with obesity and bad health.

This right here. I cut out ~80% of the sugar from my diet and rarely eat fried/ultraprocessed foods. The only times i get breakouts nowadays is after a night of drinking and eating garbage.

Literally wash your face with water (cold or lukewarm) three times a day - morning, after working out and before bed
Change your sheets every week or two weeks
Don't eat shitty oily and greasy food
That's it, it really is that simple

PROTIP: Wash your face with honey. Rinse with cold water. No soap or hot water so you won't need to moisturize.

Washing 1x or 2x daily with honey saved me from horrible skin. I also sometimes leave the honey on my face for a while before I get in a cold shower to rinse it.

Honey is the only thing I've found that keeps my dermatitis under control. Apart from cortisone creams which I don't want to use any more, only for emergencies.
I get dermatitis on my mustache area and next to my nose.

Also haters will say that showering too much damages your skin (yeah, just, uhh, don't clean yourself bro, you'll get b***hes!) but they really just want you to smell bad to lower their competition at the club. I shower when I wake up, after work/a workout, and before bed. My skin looks pretty good, except I have large pores from being a dirty autistic freak during puberty.

I'm going to tell you, everyone here is going to give you shit advice, I have massive autism so actually know what I'm talking about.

Best skin care is keeping a clean environment. Wiping down high touch areas with alcohol or bleach, dusting, vacuming/washing carpet, mopping floors, etc. Don't use a towel more than once, wetting a towel then letting it hang dry is the best way to grow fungus and bacteria, which you're just wiping all over your freshly cleaned and potentially shaven skin.

Avoid majority of skin products, don't use shit unless you have obvious dry skin, like your skin is flaking the frick off and chapping dry.

Wash the entire pillow once a month atleast, change pillow cases every 2 days or keep a clean towel on hand to lay over your pillow, change bedding atleast once a week, twice a week if you sweat in it at night or go to bed without showering. Keep a waterproof sheet under your normal sheet, helps prevent bacteria/sweat from seeping into your mattress, american style mattresses can't really be cleaned that well, supposed to clean them atleast once a month, but americans never clean them. Japanese air out their shit daily and wash them once a week.

Wash face with hibiclens or anywhere you have "acne" bacne, buttacne, etc. Body acne is actually caused by various bacteria, not acne vulgaris or hormones like face acne is. Hibiclens is whats recommended by dermatologists for that shit, and its what I use, as a pro it prevents staph infections and athletes foot from gym equipment if you use it after your workout.

Oh yeah, don't use an electric razor to shave, shit can't be sanitized well, use a safety razor thats been sterilized in rubbing alcohol, face acne around the beard is caused by bacteria entering damaged follicles after shaving, usually from a used razor without sanitizing between uses. Same advice for your body or pubes, dont use an electric razor and make sure you sterilize whatever razor you use.

Generally, people I see with shit skin are either roiding, if its a female they have PCOS, or when I visit their house/bedroom, its absolute shit, like they wash bedding once every 2 weeks, pillows havent been washed since they bought em, mattress hasn't been cleaned since they bought it 5 years ago, they're hanging up towels and re-using them for a week before washing, if they have a comforter that shits never been washed either. Majority of skin conditions are caused by bacteria, if your environment is full of filth, you're going around collecting bacteria and shit on your skin, which is causing pimples, folliculitis, eczema flare ups, rashes, etc. Instead people just think they can wash their face and throw a bunch of lotion or skin products on it, its like taking a bunch of pills or health supplements instead of dieting to lose weight. Most skin care products are awful for your skin, you're just caking lotions and fragrances, dyes, or other shit on your skin and clogging up pores or irritating it. All you need is maybe a lotion after you shower if you're gay and shaving yourself down to the skin, and all thats for is to keep your skin from getting irritated rubbing on stuff.

Oh yeah, don't be fat or unhealthy, thats bad for your skin.

I’ve never used any lotions of creams or gay shit, and I honestly can’t imagine not having perfect skin. 28 here and mine is pretty much flawless and just has been for as long as I can remember.

A few things before you buy fricking troony chemicals and smear them all over your pores (don’t put anything on your skin you wouldn’t eat):
    - get hormonal tests and make sure everything is in order
    - fix your diet
    - no fricking sugar
    - don’t drink the liquid israelite more than a unit or two a week
    - get sun in responsible doses, and use zinc oxide when you have to be out in the peak hours for a while
    - only use Castile or olive oil based soap with as few ingredients as possible
    - realize that nothing on this earth is truly worth stressing over as a healthy white male except for offspring

Boom. Just get your shit together. Stop treating the symptoms and look to the causes

    Skincare without products:
    >Stay hydrated
    >Responsible exposure to direct sunlight (seek shade every 30 minutes or so, no sunscreen required.)
    >Eat good food (Less processed = more better)
    >Wash your face after eating oily stuff
    >If possible, take a dip in the ocean
    >For women (or men, it's 2022 after all), wear makeup as little as possible.
    >Wash clothing and bedding

    Skincare products:
    >Tallow balm
    >If you cook rice on the stove, let the water cool down a bit then rub it on your face, also use it in your hair.

That's honestly it in my opinion. You can search up 'homemade skincare' on google and find a wealth of simple recipes that I'm sure work in some way or another, I do not believe you need to purchase branded moisturisers, toners, serums, cleansers (whatever the difference between any of those even is!) that if you turn around the bottle you will find ingredients you can't pronounce and are believed to be harmful.

was the c**t with some type of face wash. i use Clearasil gel shit cos it has the most acid content. then use a moisturizer, i use QV cos it goes alright and doesn't have any perfumes or fancy shit in it. gotta moisturize cos the wash removes all the oils and dries the skin out. not moisturizing and the skin will start cranking oils production leading to too many oils and greasy pimply skin. i rarely get pimples now.
