Someone give me the redpill on sunscreen, I lather my entire body with spf 90 before going out for a jog almost everyday. Is it going to give me cancer, or worse, negatively impact my gains?

Don't use old sunscreen, once it degrades it's very likely cancerogenic, before that it's fine, at least when it comes to cancer. Also unless you have very light skin and frekels, you'll likely don't need spf90 sunscreen, but do whatever. If you're jogging for a longer time (30min+) it's not a bad idea to go with sunscreen, if you're just going for a short jog, you don't need it

    >will give you skin cancer
Ok IST, get ready for some esoteric suntan autism. Some years ago, when I found out that the Greek islanders have some of the lowest skin cancer rates on the planet I was left bamboozled. How come an area as sunny, hot and dry as the Aegean record such low skin cancer cases? The obvious answer would be genes, but there's more to it. The next obvious hint is progressively overloading your sun exposure, adjusting normally through winter, spring, and then summer is much more tolerable and beneficial than stepping out of a flight from Britain and onto the Aegean sands. Then it dawned on me that the rise in skin cancer rates is a result of lifestylr, along with genes and sun toletance. I'll continue my post.

So what do I mean by lifestyle? Well, what lifestyle changes most benefit the RECOVERY of a weightlifter? Obviously protein rich food, along with plenty of water and sleep. These have been proven to rebuild the damage done by weightlifting. Now what does the average tourist do? Aside from not having the proper genes to handle the sun and being unprepared by not having built previous tolerance (like loading 2pl8 on the bench on your first day) he slacks on his diet, living off of potato chips and sodas with an occassional restaurant meal, he dehydrates himself by staying long hours at the beach, drinks alcohol which further dehydrates you AND nukes protein synthesis (so the little protein he consumes to rebuild the damage caused by the sun vanishes) and lastly, he sleeps like shit pulling all nighters at worst. Such a lifestyle would cripple any weightlifter. I argue that the days the tourist's body receives the most stress, which he fails to counter, are the days crucial for developing skin cancer because of his shitty lifestyle. It's not the sun that's dangerous, it's the lifestyle.

I created an artificial sun in my converted laboratory so I could microdose on the beneficial effects of solar radiation while limiting the harmful ones

then how come there are people in sunny climates that
    >have low test
    >have poor immune system
    >have mental illnesses
    >are ugly

No OP but my theory is that these people have obviously evolved for prolonged exposure to the sun, so their exposure and vitamin D requirements are bigger than people in less sunny climates. Their direct ancestral line has been working in fields for thousands of years, but in the last 100 their professions have slowly shifted to walled offices with no sunlight. Here's another fact for you, people in the European side of the Mediterranean suffer from vit D deficiency.

PUFA in your body and in your skin makes you burn.
I cut that shit out 3 months ago. Yesterday I went for a 50 minutes walk, shirtless, in strong afternoon sunlight. Didn't go the slightest bit red. If I'd have done that last year, I'd have been burned to frick in 30 minutes.
If you were to eat whole foods and consume gallons of genuine olive oil you'd naturally have low levels of PUFA in your system and would not burn so readily. Also the other things you said about gradually acclimatising and staying hydrated and well fed.

It only gives you skin cancer if you get burned a lot. Regular sun exposure reduces all cause mortality (not explained by vit d) and doesn't increase melanoma risk.

Jfc, I know you're probably just a moron, but the fact there's always anti pufa shilling jammed into every single thread almost has me convinced pufa scaremongering is a israeli psyop. ~~*They*~~ don't want you to consume pufas and I wonder why.

Why is there a post like this every few days where you morons act like you just get skin cancer by going outside? Just try to get like 30min-1hr of sun as many days as you can. Don’t fricking sit there roasting for hours on end without sunscreen. It’s not that complicated.

Realistically, you'll get skin cancer when you're old, and should people really live to be old? Will I even enjoy it?
