Sleep

How much sleep do you get a night on average? I average about 7-7.5 but I'm trying to get up to 8. Sleep is important for gains, remember that

4 hours and nap 30 minutes at break in my shift. I pray for a sudden death in my sleep.

Same, for whatever reason I just wake up after that amount of time. I did get a new mattress and stuff and I can tell that my quality of sleep has improved, however.

Why would you want to frick up your perfect sleeping time?
7 hours 15 minutes is perfect sleeping length. Look it up.

There's something fricked about my sleep cycles where it doesn't seem to matter how many hours I get. 8 hours now feels like barely sleep many nights. I never sleep more. Often get 6 or 7 with some nights where I barely sleep or stay up all night. Never catch up on sleep. Always tired. Had a sleep study and doctor look at it. Nothing they can do. No sleep apnea. Honestly feels like my life ended when this disorder started.

Even though it can lean into schizo territory, maybe look more into diet stuff like histamine intolerance or if certain foods trigger symptoms etc...

I've radically switched up my diet over the years in some attempt to fix this. I'm always open to looking at more things in that regard. The first thing I did when the sleep disorder got worse was drop my weight dramatically to see if it made a difference. Now at a healthy BMI. Still don't sleep well.

stop literally all supplements and start walking 10 miles a day. youll be right in a month

If only this actually worked. Had a period of time where I was literally walking three hours a day. Only take B12 about once a month as a supplement and sometimes eat some D3 pills.

I try extremely hard to sleep, but can't stay asleep, I have sleep apnea and that's not fully controlled by CPAP and I'm always extremely fatigued and tired and I'm unable to build muscle or recover effectively.

between 6 & 7 hours, and over a third is REM, according to my tracking. I'm trying to REMmaxx and keep it consistently over 2h of my sleep time.
Unfortunately, i can't really say what the cause for my long dreaming sessions are.

I do want to sleep more. 8h+ even, and see if my REM sleep increases even more.
