I am alternating between smoking cigarettes and using snus, tried to stop using nicotine in general but can't. Is snus a good less harmful alternative?
What are your thoughts?
I usually use on! cause it's more inconspicuous (I only use nicotine pouches when I'm somewhere I can't vape), but Zyn tastes much better in my opinion.
I've never tried Rogue, I'll have to give it a try.
Overall I think snus is the best, nicotine pouches just aren't the same.
I know that feel. I always gotta stop myself from buying Cope Snuff or Grizz green anytime I am at the gas station. It's probably been over a year since I've dipped, maybe even two, I've lost track of the time.
Yup, that was my go to as well. Way better than regular grizz green. The other dark offerings (mint and straight) were also pretty good, but the wintergreen was the best.
My go to's were Copenhagen Snuff, Grizzly Dark Wintergreen, and Kodiak Wintergreen. I'd buy a can of Cope Snuff on payday, then a can of Kodiak after I finished the snuff, and then I'd use Grizz Dark Wintergreen until next payday. The one thing I don't miss about it is the cost, dipping tobacco up in Minnesota is expensive as frick. Although I should eventually quit nicotine altogether, vaping costs me very little, especially compared to dip. Even nicotine pouches are quite a bit cheaper, especially since they are always on sale at my local gas station for whatever reason.

Snus infinitely better. None of the associations with cancer and all that from additives, at that point it's just the question of whether you're alright with any risks related to the nicotine itself.
Had a finnish friend that would always bring this over. I'm an experienced smoker but those pouches are a proper nicotine kick, plus acceptable indoors and doesn't smell. I should probably order some tins.
The fact that they’re virtually invisible is the worst part. You can use this 24/7 if you don’t stop yourself. Then it fricks up your gums, gives you bad taste, etc. I would sometimes forget to take it out and I used it for 2 hours when I was working.
Just cut nicotine altogether or have it every once in a while if you can stick to it.
Snus is infinetly better than smoking
But it's still shit for you
I use like 4 at a time, of the REALLY strong stuff, because I'm a moronic homosexual and I keep telling myself I WILL STOP WHEN X, Y & Z HAPPENS.
Anyways, less cancer risk, but still SOME cancer risk, not good.
But MUCH more importantly, nicotine, by itself, is an inflammatory, NOT GOOD. It wont kill you, but it will wear and tear on your body.
Also, it reduces the elasticity of your veins, also not good.
Switch over to snus if you "have to" keep using it, but please just stop, I wish I could, and I will... after I'm done with X, Y & Z....
Less harmful for sure, but I'd go no tobacco and get the nicotine pouches like on or zyn. Rogue is best but it's never on sale

I know what you mean. I've been itching to get some grizzly winnergreen or snus lately. Haven't had any in over a year

Did you ever try that grizzly dark? That was my shit up until I quit. It was like, savory

I had a runny nose for years until I quit nicotine completely. Including snus.. Just quit already dumbass.
Probably fine. Snuff is enjoyable too. Tobacco is fun if you can keep it to every now and again.

I only enjoy smoking when I drink anyway.
Idk if less harmful for long term health as it has the same risk of cancer I think. It is better for working out and not fricking up you lungs.
I always see athletes and military guys dipping those zyn pouches. Personally I like snus and might pop one in while mtb-ing.
Not even close to the same risk of cancer brah
This. Tobacco isn't a tub of benzene, it's just a leaf.
