        Needs decent ROM and time under tension in the eccentric. Also needs to be progressively overloaded.

        Also need to choose the right exercise, if you only do squats you will look t-rex mode. If you only do curls you'll have big arms and your chest, back, legs will all be lagging.

    Yes, but keep in mind that some exercises (and some others if done incorrectly) might cause permanent damage to your body over time. Try to maintain perfect form for exercises that have been confirmed to not hurt you, and gradually build up and find a perfect form for exercises you're unsure about or discovered yourself

    More sets to failure means more rest you need to take between sessions.
    There is something a sweet spot that's near failure that allows you to train with larger volumes and higher frequency and obviously a larger time investment.
    Which way you want to go with it is largely a matter of preference.
    Novices usually go with the first approach
    Intermediates usually go with a hybrid approach doing a few sets to failure a week to see if they can go up weights.
    Advanced level lifters usually only take a lift to failure once every other week so they can maintain their lifting volume and frequency.
