    > I've started eating less in order to lose weight.
    Doesn't work.
    > day 4
Your body is dumping water. Your salt is going with it.
Take more salt. a salty broth or drink.

        >too much salt was generally bad
Nope, you were misinformed by an ignorant press, the "salt is bad" meme came from an interview about high blood pressure and the scientist mentioned offhandedly that salt also raises blood pressure temporarily, and the reporter ran with that since it was the only thing he actually understood from the entire interview. Studies on this have repeatedly confirmed that in individuals with normal blood pressure* the rise in blood pressure is from consuming salt is temporary and symptomatic of nothing other than having recently consumed salt, and unrelated to the long-term rise in blood pressure that is symptomatic of coronary issues.
*in individuals with low electrolyte levels, consuming salt leads to a longer-term increase in salt levels and blood pressure, which is a good thing for reasons which should be immediately obvious.

        >too much salt was generally bad
        myth
Your body just pisses out excess salt.
Salt is used to maintain glycogen, which is the energy you use for instant power.
By starving yourself you're burning through your glycogen. Which usually takes about 3-4 days if you don't exercise. Your body now has too much water and salt. So you piss it out, and now you have an electrolyte imbalance which cause headaches, muscle aches.

Not OP but how the frick do you say that eating less doesn’t result in weight loss? Nuances aside, isn’t that like the main thing?

The nuances turn out to matter a very great deal.

So many homosexuals on IST who just want to be smug are quick to say
        >just eat less you fat frick
But the fact is as it always has been, its WHAT you eat. Not how much. You can eat two slices of cake. Too lose weight you might cut out one slice. The better option would be to eat one slice and a vegetable.

I'm sorry I meant to say
          >eat a slice of cake and a vegetable that's equal to the amount of calories in that second slice, that was cut out
That would be significantly more healthier and weight loss would come easier

holy frick you are moronic and dont know what you are talking about. your analogy is shit too, someone starving is skinny, someone that eats too much is fat. these are objective realities. the better option is not eating any slices of cake.

the main thing is calories. if we are talking strictly about weight loss and not other side affects based purely on nutrition. less calories than the daily amount for your age sex and height and current weight. and you will be gauranteed to lose weight because your body will consume fat stored.

there is also exercise which burns calories. different types and intensities burn different deposits of energy. low intensity workout like walking in the morning during intermitent fasting hours burns your fat storage. whereas something like running or high intensity cardio will burn glycemic energy.

anyway shut the frick up and dont give people false moron advice

            > someone starving is skinny,
Someone who is starving, is starving anon. They have to remain starving for the rest of their lives. They are hungry all the time.
This doesn't work, and you're frankly a moron for suggesting it.

Yeah, I’m not buying that health halo shit. Just surrounding your goyslop with carrots is not going to cut it. You can stop pretending like your smart and clue us in on all your secrets, if you really have any.

        > eating less doesn’t result in weight loss?
When you start eating again, your metabolism has reduced by the lower calorific intake and instead of say 2000 calories a day, is now only burning 1000. Immediately you just put all the weight back on as fat.
This has been shown a million times.
If you want to lose weight permanently you have to change what you are eating permanently.
Exercise doesn't work either. That's also a load of wank. You have to run 10 miles to burn any significant number of calories. Are you really going to take a 2 hour run every day? Didn't think so.
The ONLY thing that works is changing what you eat.
If you want to lose weight you have to drop your insulin level, and raise your glucagon level. Two hormones which control weight gain and weight loss. You do that by not eating things which raise your insulin level. Insulin follows your blood sugar, it keeps it from rising too high. Pic is related.
Different foods have different effects on your insulin. Pic is related.
To lose weight permanently you have to stop eating carbohydrates. You don't need them, your body requires zero carbohydrates, it makes it's own just fine. There are both proteins and fats though that your body cannot make, and which are essential. You must eat these protein and fats.
Once you have transitioned your diet to mainly protein and fat, you DO NOT SNACK.
The second component of weight loss is to give your body time to raise glucagon. This is the hormone responsible for pulling energy out of you fat. This means you eat main meals and zero snacks in between them. You won't be hungry on a protein / fat based diet anyway.
I lost 80lbs this way and have maintained it off. Easily.

how many cals a day are you eating? i would recommend counting cals and decreasing your daily calorie intake by 100-200 cals per 3 weeks-month until you reach something that will sustainably get you to your desired weight. it will give your body time to adjust. remember to drink enough water, and if youre not used to not eating for long periods of time, try giving yourself a low calorie snack (like some dried fruit) to help maintain blood sugar and curb the headaches 🙂 good luck anon!

Order a set of semaglutide for next to nothing from QSC and inject it once weekly and you will naturally eat less and experience way less hunger. Just remember to work out like doing calisthenics so you don't have 0 muscles after your cut. You'd be surprised how many calories walking burns aim for 10k steps a day and increase, it is addicting once you start.

Start doing neck bridges. You got partially too tight neck muscles and partially too relaxed.

You are already in the verge of type 2 diabetes.
Your body can't maintain glucose levels high enough from breaking fats to serve your brain.
Just keep forward to save yourself.
Your body will adapt in few days.
If you start to take carbs now you are lost forever.
