    Post the clip. Also I agree, it either means you're too dumb, scared, or lazy to train and eat properly, OR you're just genetically inferior.

    For my part, I'm too lazy to figure out a proper diet, too much of a pussy to force feed myself when my stummy hurts and I don't feel like eating, and I am also genetically inferior at 5'6" 145lbs. I have all that going against me and I'm still on the cusp of hitting 315 and its within a year of training, so I do think 405 is reasonable for someone who's doing everything right.

    mixed grip doesnt count. 405 mixed grip is not that much. most of load is taken by ligaments and abdominal pressure. even trained powerlifters flex backs when deadlifting. its ligament and ego lift mostly.

        You don't really need to be fat to deadlift 4pl8 within a year. Squat 4pl8, maybe.
        It's very dependent on proportions and background, if you had a semi-normal upbringing where you played outside and maybe did some sports while not being a stubby T-rex it's easy. You are starting from a 2-3pl8 pull while being untrained (don't attempt it though), getting up to 4pl8 within a year just from neurological noob gains and a few kilos gained of fat and muscle isn't too big of an ask.
