So what is the catch with this?

So what is the catch with this? A whole roasted chicken is cheaper than buying a raw one and then having to cook it myself, and is not cooked using vegetal oils

Is this the ultimate cheap protein hack?

they use the chickens that didn't sell and would have gone bad, so what could have just been straight loss can be recouped easily. Plus , same as the famous $1.50 hot dogs

Red pill me on malls' roasted chicken

And the macros are pretty good, why couldn't I just buy one of these and eat it over the course of 2-3 days?

From what I’ve read around here they are highly processed.

No they aren't, they only marinate them and the roast them, nothing that you are not already doing at home

Idk I like them but I believe that they are filled with PUFAS.

            >tfw you have to share one with a family of 8 and they let you have the drumstick once in awhile

They are only filled with PUFAs because of the chicken feed. However rotisserie chickens have most of the fat rendered out, so they're not as bad.

Yes my friend, you should purchase it if they're cheaper than raw. Lots of time and money saved, and the leftovers can be used for stock.

How can someone not eat it in one sitting? As soon as you open up one of those things, man turns into a primal animal and starts ripping the meat off the bone.

        >18g protein per 100g
        >453g per pound
        >chicken 2 pounds
        >453x2 = 906
        >18x9= 162g of protein
You can’t do that in one sitting and say it’s healthy.

I didn't say it was healthy. I monitor what I eat pretty solidly. Nothing like cracking into that crispy skin. Only a queer would buy one and not eat it when it's still warm.

I ripe that shit apart all at once and put it in a glass container and eat it with various things for a couple days.

I need to eat at least 200g of protein per day so this is barely scratching the surface. I can tell you're a dyel

Checked. The catch is I shop late and they're all sold out. I just cooked a raw one yesterday. I've gone keto to lose my gut, wish me luck.
Also, the actual catch, if you care about that sort of thing, is in the rear section you can get one that's not roided and free-range, though it's more expensive per kg.

my countrys ability to regulate feed n sneed is pretty strict over the top as it is and scandinavians are massive overthinkers
who deep down still have valhall somewhere deep in their primordial minds, thinking of how that one chicken might haunt them
in the afterlife if they didnt feed it properly and the pozzed farmer will do its bidding to sleep without chicken in its headspace

        Why?

Chicken is low in micronutrients (it's like protein powder) and high in omega-6 PUFAs from the garbage they're fed.
