    Relax, breathe and control your strikes. Your sparring NOT FIGHTING, I hope the person your sparring is more experienced because it'll be better for you in the long run if they actually hold back and let you get use to being punched lightly

    In sparring we usually take turns. I let my opponent attack and try to evade/block and then I attack back while he defends.
    Don't try to constantly attack at the same time he's attacking. That's how people get injured because neither of you are gonna see the punches coming.
    The goal isn't to injure your opponent. Sparring exists to get you comfortable. If you're not comfortable and constantly afraid of getting punched in the face then there's no point in sparring at all.
