      To be honest a lot of it is that powershitters just hate cutting because they might lose one microgram of lean mass so they fatcope at 25% BF all the time. they'd look better if they actually cut but a lot of them are people who would be obese normally and coped by lifting. thats why powershitters always say shit like EAT MORE and eat like 4000 cals a day

      Many of us fell into the powercoper trap. Some made it, many just got fat or saw strength go up.
      My priorities are unironically isolations and body parts. Not strength, that's a byproduct of progressive overload.

      You need to hit your posterior chain and erectors somehow and squats and deadlifts are the best bang for your buck. In a hypertrophy context RDLs and highbar squats are probably the best combo but you're leaving easy gains on the table if you don't include them in your routine. A balanced routine is key. Someone that squats and deadlifts heavy in a reasonable rep range (5+) and does the proper isolation work in higher rep ranges will look better than someone that just bros it out.

                I want it all and enjoy rdl's. My v-taper will never be amazing since I have a short torso+wide hips but I can try by doing my rows and pull-ups.

                I was a powershitter, hitting 210kg DL with slow decent and 200kg Squat no belt, I got strong and had great hamstring and lower back gains for a year. Now I’ve totally excluded compounds except for light bench work.

                What do I do now? Rings. They beat the crap out of me since I weight 115kg at 194cm but holy shit the upper body gains are insane. My chest is popping like never before with ring dips and my traps are holding onto me like someone is trying to pull me apart on ring pull-ups.

                Take the Ring pill bros or at least try it out for a month. Life is finally good.

                hmmm always wanted to try rings. Heard they are great for deficit push ups and flys too.

                Im a brosplitter and my first lift on my leg day is Romanian Deadlifts. They def give the best hypertrophy for the "backside" of your body.

                I do them like a bodybuilding exercise, not like a powertrooner

      Newbie here. Should I just do brosplit or PPLx as a beginner? I don't wanna get into the powerlifter territory with high injury chance exercises such as deadlift, squat, ohp til I have more experience.

        Brosplit is low on frequency so it's really best for enhanced lifters or lifters who can push crazy hard so they can make tons of gains and use the rest time.
        PPL you hit the same muscles twice a week.

        Nothing wrong with deadlifts, squats, and ohp but you really need to study and start light when you do them. Getting injuries suck.

        Most dudes' biggest mistake is taking protein supplements
        Just make sure everything you eat has meat in it and then your body can actually use all the protein and you won't overdo it

        0.8g/lb of lean mass is stupid easy to hit. You can only handle more than that if you're on roids and if overdo it on roofs, you can trash your livers

      If he would have hit chest+back twice a week at decent volume he would likely be very impressive

      Most powerful lifters do very few working reps at heavy weight which is great for building CNS and bodybuilding potential, but you do actually have to hit the glamor muscles at least once a week at volume

                Except all the ones that do? How much do you bench? Serious question. My all time best is 418 lbs after 16 years of lifting. I have seen only a handful of dudes bench 3plates+ in all that time and I train in gyms with tonnes of people, including competing powerlifters.

      I stopped squatting and deadlifting like 2 years ago because I hurt my back at work. I've been doing bulgarian split squat and hip thrusts, along with other accessories, and my legs are way bugger than when I was squatting/deadlifting.
