I have some and I don’t really think they do much, honestly, but I still do them at the end of arm workouts

    Oil your shit homie.

    >improves your grip strength
    >warm up with a cheapo gripper or stress ball
    >when you actually work out with it you progress

I could rep out with the 2 and almost closed the 3. It didn't do shit for my grip strength outside of closing CoC grippers.

      this.
the skin it destroys is mostly on your fingers.

trying for 3x8 at approximately 87lb on my baraban adjustable, tomorrow.
i *think* my set of 8 is approximately 10lb under what i can do for singles. so once i get 90-92 i should be able to close a #2.

Did wonders for me, akshually. I went from 45kg to closing 65kg in around 6 months and currently working on 75kg (probably hampering my progress by jumping 10kg increments but I'm too cheap to buy more gradual grippers). My deadhang went from 30sec to 90sec, currently working to achieve at least 30sec one handed hang. Having a strong grip just feels based, objects magically start sticking to your hands like magnets, you feel like alpha shaking hands, I started enjoying doing manual labor just to enjoy that feeling of grabbing stuff confidently

what grippers are you talking about?

random chinkware, I have to idea if they're accurate or not, it doesnt really matter as long as they offer resistance increase

i think the only ones i have seen with kg on them are the plastic adjustable ones with 60kg on the side.

Try not having baby hands, gayboy.

    Wash it, slob.
    >*does nothing*
There's pretty much nothing better for crush grip strength. It won't give you huge forearms because the muscles involved are small regardless, your hands might get bigger. It's almost purely for making sure your work when you get old, or for various sports where crush grip matters.

I thought that specific design was bad because it only engages the lower few fingers/bottom half of palm and not the full hand and all fingers leading to strength imbalance or am I moronic?

I thought something like the fatgripz is best for grip idk abt crush strength THOUGH

You're not moronic but actually I think the top digits are still doing the majority of the work.
Proper gripper form tend to involve having your pinky about halfway off of the gripper.
This is because the work the pinky can do is pretty limited and if the stronger fingers are further down they get more leverage.
So halfway off is a compromise between still allowing the pinky to exert force and getting the best leverage for the stronger digits.
Grippers are probably only good for two things.
      *being better at grippers
      *handshakes

      >because it only engages the lower few fingers/bottom half of palm
why are you pretending this is a bad thing
try gripping anything with your fingers separately
you will immediately notice your pinky is fricking WEAK
giving him a priority target balances out the strength in your hand in general
plus you have the option to mega engage the upper part of your hand by holding the grip upside down, you know, you don't need to exclusively hold it like in that pic
