Yes, if you don't have a gut a tucked in shirt is an incredibly flattering look.
Especially since most other men have guts.

Girls quite like rolled up shirt sleeves too.

I keep my sleeves rolled up all the time. Doesn't make you sweat a lot plus you get to show off your forearm gainz.

this is like a cheat code, but you have to have nice arms for it to work

Wanna know why? Because it shortens your torso and elongates your legs.

Also it makes your waist look smaller making your shoulders broader in comparison

Literally this. I never tucked in my shirt in high school and my mom made me wear like 2 sizes up (that's how you get fitting clothes for a relatively large armspan). This way I didn't just look like what I was (someone who never lifted), I looked worse, like melted ice cream on a stick.

I met some roasties a few years after HS, now I tuck in my shirt and only wear 1 size or so up or not even that. Girl literally asked if I grew taller.

I've never been more than 5'11.

Not that anon but my gut protrudes quite a bit when relaxed, it's always been like that even when I was a twig with 19 or BMI as a young teen. I think it's because I always breathe deep with my diaphragm and if I suck in my stomach it obviously looks flat but then my breahting gets too shallow. Wat do?

do abs exercises and practice flexing your abs all the time when you're not asleep

this, once your core isn't shit, it'll just stay flat without too much trouble. It's just a good posture kind of thing. After a while you just don't notice that you're doing it

Thank you for the advice anons, I will add more core exercises to my routine. But will keeping my abs flexed not make my breathing worse?

                Anonymous

I'm not sure, personally, I breathe more with my chest. My guess is that you'll get used to it with time and you'll be able to keep them half flexed enough for your stomach to look flat and to also be able to breathe without trouble. So all in all, your stomach area should never be 100% relaxed (they are postural muscles after all), but also not 100% contracted, there will be a happy inbetween and you'll find it eventually.

You convinced me, I will start doing ab stuff on my days off from the gym to make this go faster. Even if it doesn't work at least I will get a stronger core which is a goal and reward of its own.

                Anonymous

That's the spirit, hope it works out as well as you hope, and if not, good luck with the abs. Here you can have this collage that someone made from the crazy abs anon guy. I'm doing a bit of everything except exercise #3, I get a better contraction using cables for my obliques, but I'm probably unique or moronic here. Keep in mind, this isn't how I got my core stronger, but I like what the anon wrote so I kept it around for inspiration. Hope you find something useful here.

Jeans with shirt is a terrible look specially if you top it with a blazer. You and your wife have no taste but who would've guessed. I bet you can't show me a single picture of someone who looks good in a blazer with jeans.

There are plenty. Just a quick Google search away. But as with every bit of fashion, it depends on who is wearing it. A handsome guy or gorgeous woman would still look good even if wearing a potato sack.

That jacket doesn't fit him, it's too small. It also shows too much cuff on his right arm, probably does on his left but because he's in movement it looks better there.
His shirt collar is too small and doesn't meet the lapel. He matched his pocket square with his tie, very clownish. Peak lapels with a ticket pocket and casual fabric, the jacket has an identity crisis. No socks is a terrible look, sneakers with a jacket+tie is a terrible look. The jeans are too low rise and he has the triangle of death going on but that's also made worse by him moving and holding up the flap with his left arm on purpose. Cuffed jeans are gay but at least those seem to be selvedge so he has an excuse to show it off.

Its funny seeing Americans being oblivious to the fact that in most parts of the world, most men under 35 can pull this look because their countries dont normalise obesity the way Americans do and whilst this seems like a huge accomplishment in the USA to be able to tuck your shirt in, in many parts of Europe and Asia, its expected.

Pretty much. Fat people can't pull it off without muffin topping. Its a nice way to display leanness in a business appropriate fashion. Kind of like when women wear low rise jeans with crop tops... if they can pull it off its by far the easiest way to get mires.

Putting even the slightest modicum of effort into your fashion (assuming you’re not fat) makes such a difference it’s uncanny, at least here in America. Most people here dress like absolute slobs so if you so much as just do simple shit like j.crew or banana republic, and make sure it actually fits, you’ll get a lot of positive attention. I used to just wear dumb tees 90% of the time, then I wore a slim button-down I found in my closet and got mires basically every time I wear it (bear in mind I’m DYEL by IST standards).
