We used to all do it but after like 2 years of pandemic bullshit you eventually just get tired and stop.

    Rerack your fricking weights though.

Wipe before you use it if you want. I don't wipe at all, just rerack the weights, not many people do even that in my shit gym.

keep doing what you're doing. Its the right thing to do.
In fact I'd say its a fricking beta move to stop doing something just because nobody else does it.

I've come back with a paper towel to wipe down and met the person who wants to use the equipment next and they were like "No it's fine" and I had to autistically be like "No I have to do this" while they stand there impatiently

Keep it up king. We equipment cleaners are the dalits of the gym, wiping up the sweat/fluids of Chad and Stacey. But I take pride in doing it because otherwise the gym would be disgusting.

Gym alpha masterrace reporting in. Run that b***h. I've been doing this social experiment to see who is alpha and who is beta in my gym. Turns out 99% of my gym is beta. What I'll do is I will purposely leave my weights on the bar and dumbbells on the floor after I'm done. I think I've had maybe only one or two wanna- be tough guys actually say something to me. Everyone else just deals with it. Some even rerack them for me. If this social experiment has taught me anything it's that most people are intimidated by authoritative figures and will do almost anything to avoid confrontation followed immediately by pain administered by said authoritative figures.

    >mfw I see beta dyels rerack my weights like the cucks they are.

Do you also windex the mirrors and iron the gym employee’s shirts for them?

    >wipe down equipment before I use it because nasty motherfrickers don't wash their hands
    >wipe down equipment after usage because of courtesy
Reracking weight shouldn't even be the bare minimum, it should just be something you do out of principle but subhumans won't do that either.
I've been doing this since I started lifting basically.

i always carry the DBs across the gym and upstairs to do lunges and shit so the wagies have to track them down and move them back when I’m done lol. also when I’m using the machines I set it to the highest weight when I’m done so it looks like I was doing a lot (esp if girls are around)

Keep it up. You’re doing the right thing. People not tidying up after themselves is a sign of a broken society. These people are on a par with litterers and are beneath contempt.
