What are your current lifts? Shouldn’t you be deloading and reattempting? I think if you increase frequency you’re just going to end up at snap city when your body cant recover

      Bulk

Jk if you are plateauing with decent sleep and diet it probably means you hit the end of your linear progression and should move on a more advanced plan like 5/3/1 or gzclp

Decrease the frequency, stupid. Didn't you even read the book?

It’s a pretty shit program even for beginners. There’s way better programs out there for new people (PPL for beginners, greyskull LP, 5x5 stronglifts, etc.)
That being said it’s better than not working out at all, which is where most people doing SS recently came from

      >5x5
Yeah it sure is fun squatting 5x5 and being too tired to work out your other muscles. 3x5 is the superior choice. Easier to get higher lifts.

You’re a dumb homosexual if you dont think 5x5 squats wont tire you out to lift adequately on your other lifts

            >oh no I squatted 25 times now its literally impossible for me to lift my arms up or do bench presses

Anything works for a beginner to get them stronger
    >Does it actually make you strong?
No. The average weights lifted after SS per their graph that floats around is lower than 1/2/3/4 iirc

Absolutely. Most people seething about Starting Strength are fatties who bulked too much and/or continued too long when the point of the program is to give you a good foundation.

I did it for a month to get my SS, than switched to PPL because I lift for aesthetics. Sorry Mark.
