    I started my weight loss with fasting. 355 > 305 doing regular extended fasts, and 18-6 intermittent fasting.

    My weight melted in 4 months. It does work, especially if you are on the heavier side with lots of excess fat to lose.

    Once you hit the wall though, the diet that works best is the one you can keep up. I'm down another 15 lbs since then with a simple deficit and swapping between maintenance and cutting.

    Suggest you just do it the hard slow way. Don't forget to lift heavy rocks.
