Lmao found the moronic skeleton. Your body can pull 31 calories of energy from a lb of bodyfat per day. So if you have 20 lb of bodyfat, you can have a deficit of 620 calories. Any more beyond that, the energy comes from muscle tissue. So your 1500 calorie diet is going to emaciate you, unless you're SO fricking fat that you have enough fat to cover your ~1000+ calorie deficit per day.

I'm a bit high and I only read the text once, but there is no way this is correct. I think they're saying 31kcal is the max before you risk losing some muscle, but I don't think it said how much muscle you'd lose. I'm not reading it again though.

That's not true and depends on your default usage aswell as genetics. As long as you're not going much below 10% bf 1500kcal is fine for some. Literally done all my cuts at 1500-1800cals and not even a petite femboy.

I don't understand. People always use 1500 - 1800 as their limit when they're cutting and trying to lose weight.
But this has always been (around) my calorie amount even when i wasn't trying?? Now I'm trying with 1600 but still ony lose like a pound per week WITH daily walking/running

Holy COPE. Right has perfect chest, much thinner waist, broader shoulders, bigger arms etc.

Again. Better posing. You have no idea how he looks in a straight facing picture. Youre seeing angles and lighting differences and claiming it's size. Look at the two photos without getting hard for right and then reevaluate the differences. There are none, except posing

You can literally see how the guy on the left is basically doing a front lat spread which elongates his torso and stretches his abs. Obvious they're gonna pop less than when you're crunching forward like the guy who on the right. Then again you probably don't even lift since you think someone doing 10 bw pull-ups is an impressive feat.

It will if you're low bodyfat. Low bodyfat is much more important for muscularity than muscle mass, as illogical as that sounds.

The guy in the left picture has huge shoulders, perfect chest and abs ?
Not that the guy in the right picture has those things either.
Both physiques are achievable with simple calisthenics and low body fat, the dudes probably weigh 145 lbs at most

The real answer to all these threads is just bulk, but take SARMS. Lean gains. Have more muscle, stay low body fat, win-win. But they don't want you to know this because they don't want you to succeed in life.

I just cut and want to start bulking. Do I need to stop at maintenance for a bit? How long?

I'd go even farther: Never bulk. It simply isn't worth it.
If you're naturally skinny, chances are you have a small bone structure and mass would make you look unnatural and moronic. Just stay otter and that's it. Congrats, you made it, now you just need to maintain it.
No, you don't need to add more mass. Yeah, I know you think you do but it's all in your head. Getting fat isn't worth it, once you're fat you'll never be normal again.
