    No difference. For naturals strength = hypertrophy. If you curl 10kg dumbbell vs 20kg dumbbell both exactly similar ROM, similar tension, similar anything, the one who can do with 2x the weight will hypertrophy his muscles better.

      I thought the point for natties is that you want to start with strength training to build up a strong baseline and train your nervous system for lifting, then switch to a hypertrophy program because it is a more effective routine for building muscle. e.g. you're gonna build more muscle if you can bench lmao2pl8 for 3x8 than you would doing it for 5x5. You'll still build muscle doing the strength program from noob gains, but most powerlifters don't look particularly huge unless they're overweight.

    You're probably not going to see a differnce. If you think about stuff like "effective reps" and the mechanisms of muscle growth 3x10 on two lifts per group is pretty much the same as 5x5 or whatever. It all more or less equals out ot 25-30 effective reps (reps that are within 5 of failure) the only differnce is you can just prioritize a little better 2 lifts instead of 1 and work in lighter rep ranges that don't take as much interset recovery.
