        So 5 years?

        Yes

        Is this natty?

None of you have been lifting more than a year. You should be ashamed for having such low standards for natural lifting, your minds have been poisoned. I suggest you lift for a few years and see for yourself what is naturally attainable instead of opening your mouth when you clearly know nothing.

I've been training for a year and a half starting from scratch (no background in sports at all, never played sports at school except the mandatory class we have all had) and I still look dyel even though I gained 10kg and I still have beginners lifts (60kg bench press, less than 10 reps * 4 sets for my pull ups, etc) because I struggled a lot to learn how to have a good form for my exercises, it wasn't intuitive to me at all.

I'm not saying that everyone will be in the same case as me, I'm just telling you that one's lifting journey is very different depending on whether they start from 0 level or with some background to help them.

4x10 pull ups is good IF they're clean and full ROM. Your BP is weak though after a year, how much you weigh?

I started with the empty bar for the bench press, stagnated for several months at around 50kg before realizing that I was doing my reps too slowly, then progressed again and reached 60kg after a year of weight training (last August).

Then, since everyone was pestering me with the idea that "it's not normal not to feel your muscles after 1 year of lifting", I adopted a proprioception-oriented routine (or "mind-muscle connection") for 4 months until the end of December 2023. I made some progress in terms of sensations, but at the same time I regressed in terms of loads, since this training focused on low loads, decomposition of the form in all its phases, slow tempo, etc. The opposite of what bodybuilding is all about.

Finally, since the beginning of January, I've gone back to a more classic routine because I was fed up with the proprioception-based program. I'd made some progress but too little to feel motivated to go to the gym, so now I'm regaining the strength I'd lost, even if the same problem of lack of sensation remains. My workouts have ALL been checked out by a friend of mine who is coach, who himself says that my pull-ups are BETTER than his because I'm getting much higher over the bar. Yet I still feel NOTHING (and this is not only the case for back exercises). I don't know what to do.

Big but not too big. That’s about the ideal size imo. Dude looks just a little more muscular than what I’m going for for myself.
      >picrel

That’s just being an ectomorph. Can’t really do anything about that since it’s bone structure.

Is the ectomorph/mesomorph/endomorph typology still a thing in the American lifting world? I'm pretty surprised...

I just find the terms useful. Like all generalizations, they’re true to a degree.

How long to get there (natty) starting from skinny fat? 18 months?

I don't think it is that easy to reach that body especially if you start from scratch. IST always set unrealistic expectations but you shouldn't be influenced

I'm not saying it's going to be easy. I just want a time estimate

basically the ideal male body that young woman will be attracted to
You could try to optimize it ever so slightly, but you would get diminishing returns, as its good enough that you would better spend that effort on other things

    Ottermode attracts young woman
Bearmode attracts older woman and woman who have a security complex that drives them to the safety of a bear
Dadbod attracts woman looking for a husbando

Body looks fine, maybe lose some weight to get more cut. Face could have a stronger jaw, narrow nose, and while that hairline may not be balding yet, it looks like it's balding. That's the way my hairline is, I had a "receding pattern" hairline since I was born, but it hasn't receded yet. But I'll tell you from experience as a 34 year old, the longer you live, the more people will assume that's not your natural hairline and you're balding. Shitsux but owell
