Struggling with CICO

I've been trying to practice CICO for while now but I haven't had any success. At first I was eating 2000 calories and trying to work out but that was even worse than intuitive eating. I kept reducing it and now I'm trying to eat 800 calories but my weight isn't dropping. Hoping for advice or other options.

    Eating 800cals is fricking dumb and counter productive to weight loss. Just do cardio and eat at a small deficit of 500cals compared to your metabolic resting rate and you’ll lose a pound of fat a week if you workout daily

    I was on less than 800 kcal (a type of fast), I can't imagine working out while doing so. Besides, this cannot be done for longer than 3-4 weeks, after that it's dangerous.

    Honestly, you should eat at least as much as your BMR is. Anything below will slow your metabolism and be counter productive to any exercise regime you have in place. It's better to eat above your BMR and burn more calories. Higher metabolism and calorie deficit at the same time. This is the way. Not eating is easier, sure, but it has severe limitations even if done right, which is not what you are doing.

      Why do you have to inject misogyny into everything you say? It is not woman-calorie-counting it is just making an error. CICO is complex people struggle with it. If you are a picky eater, for example if you don't eat your crusts, then suddenly you have no idea how many calories are in what you eat, and have to guess.
