Supplements/foods that changed your life.

Mine is Vitamin C Ester (A few grams of calcium ascorbate + Citrus Bioflavonoids spread out through the day)
Started taking it two weeks ago, instantly killed my high cortisol symptoms, have my energy back and 0 joint/muscle pain. I probably have EDS tho. MSG just makes my joints watery and slippery, painful...

Anything you swear by?

Seems to work really well for some. Vitamin C gives me a similar "buzz"
I keep stopping Ashwaganda for some reason, but never remember why. I feel like cycling it again.

      compensating since dawn of time

Maybe they were just the ones that had the genetics to stand out in the first place and decided to take it further from there lol
Nobody was lifting weights in that time, besides, most people were shorter in that time anyway

Everyone was shorter back then but the Saxon brothers were tall for the time, from 5'10 to 6'

Had a friend I knew since we were kids. Had those Sandow genes. Manlet, But was military pressing 150 pounds at age 14 after 2 months of non-serious training. Shit was weird, and he was natty. He got abs using one of those ab belts. Muscle grew as easily on him as fat on most people.

He also PR'd almost 200 pounds on the sitting barbell military press some years later after just a few weeks of 5x5 and drinking some basic weight gainer. Just bizarre how different people are.

Did he ever get into more serious training? It sounds like he could have gotten far.

I thought vitamin C is a meme. What’s special about this manner of taking it?

Works also made me numb emotionally

DHEA + Pregnenolone gave me a very noticeable effect of spare energy, I assume from anti-cortisol effects. Very small amount of both, 5mg DHEA and 50mg Preg is all you need until your 40s.

      Any risks?

      BPC-157.
I really think its healing my tendonitis

      QRD? Sides?

Magnesium works take it an hour before bed to help with sleep. Low dose melatonin works as well. I take magnesium every night and melatonin just for when I sleep somewhere else or travel. I take the usual fish oil, d+k and occasional multivitamin but never noticed a difference. Preworkout is filled with caffeine and b vitamins and I mix in 5g of creatine. I take tumeric and agmatine but don't notice a difference from it, probably won't continue. NAC I stopped as well but seemed to lessen hangovers. I try a new supplement every couple months and am usually unimpressed.

Careful with melatonin, it can suppress your natural test, maybe messes with it long term. Should also take TMG and glycine with NAC.
Not sure how much it really does but it seems to help if feeling run down or getting a cold, I can tell when I’ve taken enough NAC by the massive and smooth easy shits I take the next day. Yes plural, two large ones.

Most noticeable effects have been zinc/iron/D3 when deficient in these, ashwaghanda, magnesium citrate makes me really crash out before sleep, yohimbine gave me too much anxiety so I assumed it does work, laxogenin did help body composition and injury healing but didn’t want to take forever, and I like taking fat burners/pre workouts for the mental stimulant effects

Look at Hermann Goerner (6'1) Louis Uni (6'3) or Arthur Saxon (5'10) for taller old time strongmen.
Goerner was in excellent shape with abs at 6'1

STARCH. I had struggled with plant based diets because everybody kept saying that I had to eat fresh leafy greens like broccoli and kale. The wife and I had some limited success doing this with intermittent fasting, but it was nearly impossible to keep enough fresh veggies in the house to keep making meals every day. Turns out that you just need to base 90% of your meal on a starch like potato, yams, rice, bread, or lentils and you're golden. Reduced grocery bills dramatically. The weight dropped off and keeps going down. The "secret" is starch. Thank you McDougall.

What ethnicity are you? It's probably irrelevant but it's interesting how much gut enzymes differ between races. For me, starchy food fricks up my day and gives me the classic brain fog. (North Euro genes)

I've tried various supplements out of curiosity, I can say that none are life changing. Some that have an actual noticeable effect, though minor:
Boron - a little boost to your free T if taken for 1-2 weeks
    Ashwaganda - relieves stress
Garlic- lessens a cold if you're lucky
Gelatin - helps a bit with sleep, especially with a camomille tea.
Everything else is a 'nice to have' with no noticeable effect, especially the vitamins and minerals. I'd rather get them from food though.

Good infos everywhere even in spots you dont look. I love Lord of the Rings, good christian inspired story. The movie is great, and it has a few odd films beside it, and the books are great.
And the topic is also something I have a few answeers for. Heated food means cleaner food, whiter skin, and tastes good in different ways. I love hamburgers, BBQ ribs, home made salsa hot or cold, meatloaf, new work strip 10oz center cut serloin steak,
Cafeteria food like mac, cooked greenbeans, cooked spinach, cooked mushrooms, fried chicken, brisket, all that stuff.
    Mainly carbs make you bigger.
Take magnesium and potassium as most people are defecient.
Read the bible, heaven is about going higher and that means not just taller like a snake grows long, but bigger. The satanists make fun of "slug men" and pigs and meat eating because they want to scam you out of carbs. Gollum has already forfeited and lost sight of anything that could be heavenly things. He just lives under the mountain and fed off of whatever he could catch in the pools and whatever wandered in. He had been living without the light of the sun or fire so long he couldnt recall why he needed it anymore. He is a hideous devil frog spirit, or a ghoul. Smeagol is gone (that was his name). I still remember the old cartoon a little bit by the way.
Cooked food makes you happier faster and cold food is usually more bitter. It can actually be less healthy mentally.
Pies, cakes, ice cream, like Vanilla, Sea Salted Caramel, Chocolate Mint, or Key Lime is delicious after a meal and generally comes from cooked ingredients even if served cold. .
The difference between hot and cold food is pretty clear in the bible. One is Meat (off the tree) and the other one is Food. You use the Food for health and the Meat for adding more flesh. Clean air and water for everything else. Vitamin D in winter time but not summer.
So that means even ancient humans preferred meats over foods. Meaning they preferred hot over cold.

Finasteride + Minoxidil + Dermaneedling. Not a supplement but it has changed my life tremendously, My hair line is still a Norwood 2 but I was lucky to catch it at age 18, recently all the thinning is gone and it's thicker than ever. New hairs growing in too, I've gone from looking into every mirror cringing at my big forehead and wispy frail hairs to being complimented for my soulless redish hair. Not perfect yet, but good enough for me.

2 times a week. Maybe a bit overkill, nobody says you should do it, but I get good results. 1.5mm 9 needles fast
