I've gotta do something about this. This isn't even when I'm just working out. I am constantly sweating profusely out of my armpits. I've tried different deodorants and none of them help at all. By 2nd period, doing 0 physical activity but sitting, I can squeeze the area of my shirt under my armpits and water will come out. It's so gross and embarrassing. It doesn't smell because I apply deodorant frequently, but it makes it to where I can only wear dark shirts. Why the frick do I sweat this much and how do I stop it? I don't care if it requires experimental cancerous deodorant, I will wear it if it stops this.
>inb4 coffee
I drink one cup of coffee in the morning and that's it all day. No way this is coffees fault, because if coffee made everyone sweat as much as me, nobody would buy it.
>inb4 alcohol
I don't drink.

It's probably the coffee man
this shit is happening to me since I started lifting, I reduced the coffee consumption and I didn't see any improvement
Try a stronger deodorant. I used to get this but I use 72hour roll on deodorant and no longer experience this
Is coffee good for you?
Covfefe
Hahahahhhhaa
No need to thank me.
I don't drink coffee and i also have that problem
use antiperspirant, not deodorant.
bump
Stop being fat.
use shirts make for exercise, avoid cotton as it will absorb water and not let it evaporate
Dry Idea Dedorant in the morning
Use clippers to buzz your pit hair. If your antiperspirant is just getting matted into the hairs it’s not going to stop your sweat
I switched to an alcohol free deodorant, worked for me after years of sweating my pits off
antiprespirant applied the night before instead of morning.
Also get your social anxiety treated or medicated.
It could be coffee. Coffee definitely affects how I sweat. I reduced caffeine consumption and it doesn't get so bad. You may or may not have hyperhidrosis, too.
Op this shit litterateur saved my life. I used to pour sweat like a fricking sink faucet until I started using this. I can wear any color shirt now and not be afraid. You just apply this to your clean armpits before you go to sleep and then you are good
Also use this and it saved me at work because the sweat stains used to show wearing any dress shirts.
I used to have this problem, here's what I did.
1. Stop using regular deodorant/antiperspirant. Use a deodorant stone instead. It will make you not stink, but will not prevent you from sweating. My experience with antiperspirant leads me to believe that it makes me sweat more, not less. By antiperspirant I am referring specifically to chemicals like aluminium zirconium tetrachlorohydrex that block your sweat glands.
2. Wear merino wool shirts. Ibex, Icebreaker are my favorites. If they're black or navy, the sweat isn't visible. But the main benefit is that they dry quickly. If I sweat through a cotton shirt, I will be wet for the rest of the day. Don't have that problem with wool.
A few other remarks.
I am not sure that blocking your sweat glands is healthy. Your body secretes more than just salt and water when you sweat. Your body is the product of hundreds of millions of years of evolution. Antiperspirant deodorant is a recent invention designed with no regard for your physiology and genetic legacy. Most people in western society have been convinced via advertising (or via social pressures, via advertising) to smear this crap under their arms every day. Not only does it interfere with thermoregulation, but antiperspirant messes with your body chemistry too.
Your body is very adaptable, though. So if you stop blocking your sweat glands, keep in mind that it will take your body some time to adjust.
Now, clearly you don't want to stink. That's where the deodorant stone comes in. It's basically a type of salt that inhibits bacterial growth. You stink because bacteria break down some of the chemicals that your body emits in sweat. The bacteria break them into smaller molecules, small enough to float away. If you control the growth of bacteria with something like deodorant stone, you won't reek.
You will smell a little bit though. Women seem to like the scent.
Good luck.
I had this back before I was told I had type 2 diabetes the whole time. Go on a ketogenic diet or die of diabetes.
