this, anything "free" is going to be saturated with shitskins. Unless it's significantly off the public bus lines it's not worth it. Getting some parallels and a high bar for your own yard isn't expensive and allows you to workout outside with portajohns or needle strewn bathrooms, or gays.

You would be moronic not to have a barbell at home, especially after the shitshow that happened in the last two years with gyms closing.
Just toss that b***h into your car and have a nice hybrid workout out in the open.

          >why are legs so hard to grow without massively heavy weights
Leg muscle stronk. Need much weight.
Also you can do shit like bulgarian split squats, but most people don't have the will power to suffer through them.

How do I start, literally? I'm a noob who has been going to the gym 6 months. I'm somewhat muscular but way too fat to do pushups. What's the point if you can't do pushups?

How the frick are you muscular if you can't do pushup? Man I used to be 120lbs skelly and I had close to no muscle but still could do a pushup with 40lbs on my back. Like I would be probably overweight with this amount of muscle and still could do a one pushup and what ur saying is that ur 6 months into benching and still can't do pushup? Who hurt you this way? Just don't tell me that you fallen for powerlifting meme or something like GOMAD and SS

Too fricking bad. If I want to use the playground I paid for to do pullups and use the swings for rope climbs, other people and their kids can politely ask to work in.

In the parks or at playgrounds? Of course it's fine in parks but if you try to work out at the kids' monkey bars or do pullups from the swing set or something when the kids are there you're not going to be very welcome.

It is unfathomably based OP. However I still pay for the gym for days when it rains (often in my country) and for leg sessions, and since I pay for the gym, I end up going anyways, even if I just do calisthenics there. If I move to a sunnier part of the country though I'll definitely give up the gym. I fricking love outside calisthenics

  27. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

    >calisthenics park
we got a few of those but the good ones are either in popular parks so you have people walking past you all the time, or near housing projects where kids and teenagers use them as playgrounds. Still usable but you have to go at like 6am.

The most interesting one is a few spread out pieces(parallel bars, overhead ladder, pull up bars, etc) literally in the woods, like 100m away from the edge of the forest. But that's not in my neighborhood.

  28. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

Sadly don't have any park like this nearby, and the playground alternative is illegal, you're only allowed to go there until the age of 14.
Having a kid to go there is the only way to sneak in.

Elastic band thrown over a bar can imitate most machines

However just doing some dips - pull ups - push ups is a 20 minute affair tops. I exercise with adjustable dumbbells and it's a full on four part split, one hour each. That includes push ups (weighted) and pull ups too...

I've been doing just that with this routine :

3xF-1 Pike push-ups superset with 3xF-1 australian pull-ups (or elevated horizontal rows)
    3xF-1 Dips
    3xF-1 Chin-ups

most people don't understand henneman's size principle and don't properly program their bodyweight routines to maximally fatigue their muscles.

You should be able to reach intermediate levels of strength with bw pistol squats alone. If you get two 20-30 lb dumbbells and hold those while you pistol squat, you can develop beyond elite levels of strength before you max out.
