Don't worry OP, we all need to start somewhere. Instead of bench press, switch to dumbbell press. Do progressive overload until you can do 3x8 of at least 10kg dumbbells with good form. Make sure you're eating your protein and you'll be benching away in no time.

Trust me bro, try and get good at OHP. My 1rm is 2pl8 and I rep 1.5pl8 for my working sets, constantly get compliments on my broad shoulders. Do it 2x a week and use micro plates to progress.

Bench press PRs are a slow and steady grind, compared to deadlift or squats. It can be frustrating, but it makes sense since you are using only your triceps, pecs and scapula muscles to perform the lift. The other 2 of the big three involve many more muscle groups. You divide the weight between a lower number of muscles.
Never give up, use your frustration as a motivation mechanism.

Same thing you do with any lift, start smaller and eventually you get there. Bench dumbbells instead and work your way up you goofy dipshit.
