I am also 23. I was ran over in May last year and couldn't use my right arm till mid October. I went from spaghetti arm with low mobility to the most gains I've had in my life and it's only early March.

What do you know about training? Ask me some questions let's get you started.

Oh I know 6 months of training and nothing for it. No 6 pack or nothing went from 217lbs 27% body fat to 190lbs 19% body fat and I look the same just smaller. Lifts have barely gone up.

        It's all a cope.

Why are you focused on abs? You aren't gonna be that lean for a long time. Least you can lose fat and build some muscle.

Don't cut "calories", cut processed food and eat a lot of protein

            >Don't cut "calories", cut processed food and eat a lot of protein

I was on a cut because I was fat before. 217 lbs at my height is overweight, and cutting is the only way to lose body fat. I also eat like 150 - 170g of protein per day while on my cut.

Why are you expecting to get stronger when you are losing weight tard

Something- something newbie gains. At least that's what the fitness bros on YouTube and TikTok say. Clearly it was all a cope.

Obviously you can't build muscle as well on a deficit.

The only one coping here is you.

I was cycling to work and a moron blew past his stop sign at a 4 way intersection. Hit me on my right side and I went flipping over the car. Luckily before the impact my brain kicked into hyper gear and I did the valsalva maneuver to protect my ribs/spine/organs, I wasn't even wearing a helmet. All that broke was my collarbone into 5 pieces bad enough it needed reconstruction. All in all I'm lucky to be alive and am stronger in every way for it.

lol i "Started" at 20 or so but i dicked around and thought i had low test but i just didnt know how to train
so go through that tedious trial and error ASAP so you can make gains ASAP

I started at 31 and two years letter my Bench is 305 and my strict press is 210. My free test was 265 ng/dl

I havent hit a plateau or wall yet

Age doesn't matter. It's all about how you train and eat. The body is designed to adapt to stimulus. Growing muscle is the same as cico. If you tear a fiber and replace the protein it will grow regardless of age and rest levels.

Train harder... Also, 23 ain't late dipshit. Your test hasn't even plateaud yet, if you go hard at it now, it will increase more. Late is post 30s when your T evens out & there are no more low-stimulus spikes anymore.

most newcomers dont need to get muscle but lose their shit posture, habits, lifestyle, and realign their muscles for they have not engaged them due to a sedentary lifestyle. muscle is important and must be gained, but starting out maingaining just makes most normies fat and enables their shit behavior. hunger and fear are primal and are often feared, so they must be faced and mastered.

          >you should feel like you're starving
          >that's called maingaining

most people (perhaps not you) that advocate maingaining are fatties or "thin by american standards" (i am in that camp). everybody should be lean at least once in their life.
