For starting out sure, IMO its not a good idea to start with a body building program when you dont know how to move weight efficiently yet. No reason to stick to it more than 3 months though

My routine involves three movements per session, one of them being s/b/d. 70% of my session's effort goes into that lift every time.

I went from 160 something lbs to 200lbs about the same bf% in about a year doing mostly heavy compound lifts. I do some isolations but not very much.

You are visibly overweight and would get fat instantly if you stopped lifting.

You are fat and have a metabolic disease already more than likely. You likely have the heart of a man 10 years your senior too.

        Based. Isolation is useless bullshit.

Red bandana/music tattoo guy here, I easily rep 2pl8s for 3x5 then 1pl8s for 3x5 one after the other same day, squat max is over 450lbs last I checked. Not sure on deadlifts probably atleast 500lbs I pulled 485lbs for a few reps the other day.
