Medical professionals for some reason have labeled obesity as a disease which has skewed the perception of millions of people to the point where they can use the excuse of having a thyroid issue or some other similar bullshit to hide the fact that they’re just disgustingly lazy fricks with shit eating habits.

From memory, tyroid dysfunction can lead to weight gain to 10-15lb. Not 300lb

How are americans supposed to date beautiful women if they're all becoming obese?

The US is already 3/4 overweight with only around 40% obesity. If half of Americans are obese, that means close to 90% of Americans would be overweight. I don't want to live in a world like that, but I don't see things getting any better.

One of my biggest fears is marrying a woman and her getting fat after pregnancy. There's only so much I can do to encourage her to lose weight at that point, and it doesn't help that society is growing increasingly friendly to the idea of putting on weight and never losing it.

I think the number of overall fat people is or will stabilize but the percentage of them that go from overweight to obese will increase.
Also expect them to redefine obesity in the coming years to make it look the numbers leveled out or even dropped.

You cope by sucking it up, realising that they are the consequences of your mistakes and you have learned a valuable lesson the hard way

Have obesity? Where do you get obesity from?

I cope with it by remembering the consequences of the alternative. I have some loose skin and scarring, but if I had remained obese, I would have died much sooner and with a lesser quality of life.

Colorado seems to be the most IST state in the US. Would've expected it to be CA or another costal state.

California probably has the largest population of fit people, but also one of the largest populations of fatties. Affluent culture can lead to extremes on both ends. Higher quality of care and access to knowledge, but also the option of being able to stuff their faces.

If you go off the standards literally the entire world aside from seppostan uses, they're already over 50% obesity rate

Can’t believe I was severely underweight until I was 21 damn. I am only 25. Also this graph is fake the CDC considers a BMI over 25 to be overweight and over 30 to be obese

Matches facial and surgery scars so it's fine. Honestly with how few people turn me on it's not something that bothers me often. I look at the average person and see very little worth worrying about when it comes to myself.

I'm proud of them. They mean I had to go out there and get fit entirely on my own. Family against it, criticizing it, making fun of it. No athletic experience or team to help me, just myself. Its a sign that I'll never end up like those fat fricks in their 30s that completely gave up the moment they weren't being told to train by their coach or their parents that never shut up about their "bad knees." It means I had to actively go against my environment and upbringing, and ignore my friends and family, which makes me more of a person frankly since so many people just drift through life doing what others tell them.
