I just have a bench, a pull up bar and dumbells. I don't have a proper room to train. I bring my bench to the kitchen and do my exercises there.

If you have a corner in the kitchen counter, you can bodyweight dip off that. The backs of two chairs can also work; might want to pad them out with towels if they're an awkward shape for your hands. Or purchase a cheap set of portable stands off the internet, they'll work.

I just don't have the space for a bit of equipment that's just for one exercise. I don't want more shit cluttering the little space I have. Are bench dips that bad? I do 3 sets of 20 reps and it fricking hurts. I get down until my shoulders are parelel to the ground with a 90º angle in the elbows.
I guess the dip bars are better for your whole arm.

Buy a used folding walker. Usually you can find them at a Goodwill for under $10.

pretty bad all around. worse position for the shoulder joint than on regular dip bars. just do assisted dips if they're too hard otherwise

Complete shit compared to just about any other tricep exercise. The only way this would be the best option is if you're in prison.

What about this one (2 chairs dip)? I cant turn chairs to face each other with backs they obviously will fall on me, too unstable. BUt is pic related (with legs elevated) as good as dip station?

I have two chairs and also two 20 kilo barbell plates. Simple solution is just to put one of those plates onto a chair to make it stable. Then use a towel or something for comfortable grip.

I never went on the dip bars before for some reason. I usually do the cable pulldown or standing dumbbell skull crushers. I'm incredibly bad at pullups (like 2 before I fail) because I'm still strongfat by my standards and losing weight. Anyway, I hopped up on the dip bars and cranked out like 20 of those motherfrickers going beyond 90 degrees.

I think bench dips are fine to start out with. The tendons in a lot of peoples arms aren’t prepared to do body weight dips a lot of the time and can tear. so either you build up base strength which bench dips, or you need to do negatives. I eventually could work up to a 1 rep max 90 pound dumbbell between my leg dip. But even I had to start with large sets of negatives for a month or two before doing body weight dips.

Also just to help you out if you are reading this, don’t do what I did and push for the highest number of weight you can add on to your dip I eventually got hurt. I moved on to weighted dips after I could do 25 body dips and plateaued and couldn’t do more reps and started with 5 pound between my legs. I would probably say if you can do a weighted dip with more than 25 or so pounds for a lot of reps just stop there and do another exercise and maintain that ability.

good start for those who cant bodyweight dip. get to bw dip as soon as you can, use resistance bands if needed. Bench dips by itself dont hit your tries hard enough to have any effect at all if we are talking about above beginner level gains

If you can't do a single normal dip you should probably kys literally, unironically
