    sweet potato is fricking disgusting
regular potato is only good with additions such as fats or sauce, other wise its beyond bland, which on the flipside makes them very versatile.

One of my favorite foods is air fried regular potatoes diced. Then toss in garam masala and ground pepper.

Sweet potato wedges are great and my baby loves them so we have them once a week or so.

Hany Rambod, bodybuilder coach of Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Chris Bumstead, and many other successful bodybuilders, has his athletes eat all kinds of potatoes. If you watch his clients eat, they’re eating russet potatoes, red skin potatoes, sweet potatoes, all kinds of potatoes. I’m sure all potatoes have benefits.

Ah yes the exotic south american plant so toxic indigenous hispanics would dip it in clay to neutralise it, engineered and imported a few hundred years ago and marketed as a health food full of vitamin A, despite containing zero vitamin A.

Left is easier to cook and chop, right has more fiber and harder to chop (bc of fiber). Also, sweet potatoes are annoyingly large individually.

They're both fine, right is slightly superior but the truth is most of you tards reading this are nowhere near the level where that advantage makes a difference.

      >Left is easier to cook and chop, right has more fiber and harder to chop
This is what it comes down to. For meal prep, I prefer normal spuds because theyre easier to get through. I prefer the taste of sweet potatoes though.

potatos are full of anti nutrients and despite what people on the internet tell you they arent all destroyed when you cook them. Countries with higher potato content have higher rates of IBS. Their anti nutrient content is significantly more than sweet potato. They also break down much faster and are much higher on the glycemic index meaning they negatively affect your blood sugar by having a huge spike rather than a slow release of the sweet potato. Sweet potato also have higher vitamin content, where as potatos are higher in potasium and in colder climates the higher potassium content makes it harder for you to absorb vitamin D from food and if you arent getting it from the sun that is a problem.

Basically there is no debate to be had. you either recognize sweet potato as superior or you choose regular potato because your mommy made it for you when you were young.

Brown rice is the best for health and nutrition
White rice is mid for versatility, mid for nutrition
Potatoes are best for versatility, worst for nutrition

rice notoriously has very little nutrition

potatoes are objectively superior to rice in every way, they are superior in nutrition (fiber, vitamins, minerals, resistant starch), superior in satiety, and as versatile if not more so than rice.
