The Inflammation Problem

Exercise > inflammation > can't sleep > bad for growth
and if I take anti inflammatory supplements that's also bad for growth.
What's the solution here?

I'd challenge your assumption that you can't sleep because of the inflammation. Unless I trained late in the evening, training days are probably even easier to go to sleep after due to being more tired from lifting.

This. I like to workout in the evening, but never three hours before bed.. I got to bed at 12pm and workout around 7:15pm to 8:15pm

Do you take omega 3 or any other anti inflammatory supplements?

        What time do you workout?

I used to work out like 4 hours before bed and thought maybe that's the problem but I tried working out in the morning and even not working out at all for a day or two and still my inflammation is up. I can take some stuff for inflammation to make me sleep but it's bad for growth so idk

And you are certain this is due to exercise? You've never had any previous sleep problems like this before? If you are certain this is due to exercise then maybe you need to cut back on your workouts. Lift for less time and lighter weights. IMO you shouldn't be in agony whilst lifting, you should just have a bit of resistance and a bit of a challenge, nothing too significant.

Nope. Always got my 8 hours.
yea I probably overdo it but I get so bored of doing lighter weights.

Then spend less time working out and decrease your reps

it could be that you are over working your muscles and frying your nervous system, but this doesn't sound normal for occasional workouts. go2Doc

Are you taking any stimulants, if so cut them, also work out early in the day and if that doesn’t fix it then

Less sets for now and build it up. You're generating too much work for your current level and you need to build your recovery ability so you don't get a huge adrenaline dump after lifting

I just realized I workout super hard 5 or 6 days a week and I'm a beginner.... You have a point anons.

I sure hope you're just pretending to be moronic.
working out like that cooks your nervous system like grilled steak, the fact you can't sleep means you're CNS is injured. stop working out for at least two weeks idiot and you'll be able to sleep, and expect to sleep for minimum 10 hours a night from now on.
You need good calcium, zinc, and potassium sources in your food, don't use supplements.

Eat an anti inflammatory diet. Ideally fresh fruits and veggies raw. If you want to eat meat go ahead, just cut out processed foods especially processed carbs. Eat one meal a day.

I already avoid all inflammatory foods. I was just thinking maybe I should take more omega 3 and ginger and any other anti inflammatory foods but idk if that's okay for growth.

Totally fine for growth. I’d just keep a small window to eat if you’re still having issues. Try it out for like a week to see if it works for you. Keeping a small window is also ideal for HGH secretion as well, so it’s the best of both worlds. Omega 3s aren’t a bad idea also, I’d say for for it

Should my workout be within that window or before? I used to only eat once a day but they say eating more meals is better for building muscle

What level of intensity are you working out at? If you’re not going absolute ape shit, then eat your meal after your workout. You might need to get used to eating once a day before you start going ham in the gym or else you’ll have low energy and be light headed etc.

Very high intensity. Yea i used to work out fasted before but it's low energy compared to when i eat a couple of hours before. I'll try it. Thanks anon.
