I never get thirsty because I aim to get around 4L a day of fluid. Typically you've already been dehydrated for a while when you feel thirsty, so it's better to aim for a set target of fluid consumed throughout the day to avoid this since being dehydrated is a negative factor in both recovery and training.
Also if you get a ton of electrolytes from your food then adding them to your water isn't even necessary
