    yes there is

your body cannot continue to store fat if it is getting less then maintenance levels of calories. it will inevitably burn fat for sustenance.

There is no reasonable refutation to this.

      Physics deniers get the rope.

Pretending like the human body can just choose to burn 500 calories a day at rest just because it feels like it so you can never lose weight is an utter denial of physics.

Changes in metabolic rate from a low calorie diet are small, barely anything relative to the deficits and also so small they can be overcome with a 10 minute walk.

Realizing this is nonsensical and just an elaborate cope to explain why people aren't responsible for being fat makes all this make sense

No one said CICO is easy, they said it was simple. It takes tremendous will power to not eat when you're hungry; even more so when you're addicted to food from years of gorging yourself. If you can muster the will power, however, you will lose the weight.

just eat high fibre low calorie foods and put volume in your stomach until you feel full.

If you were to get regular insulin injection and you stopped eating you would starve to death as an obese man. A majority of weight loss is control by hormones not calories.

True until your body switches over into Ketosis. Just /fast/ and slam into it, then you don't have to deal with this shit.

It's completely refuted by anyone that has ever continued to train hard while fasting. Ridiculous fricking nonsense.

Let me know the trick for lifting the same weight while fasting because I could really use that.

My strength drops away a bit during fasting for obvious reasons but I always manage to train with really high intensity and focus. In any case, it's a myth that the body will start chewing muscle to feed itself, unless you're literally starving, which nobody here ever is.

Just don't eat lmao. As a fatty, fasting is a lot easier for me than dieting. So just do that

If it doesn't work then how did I lose 45 pounds since January by eating 500 calories below my calculated TDEE?

  14. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

Yes, if you literally starve yourself on some meme lemongrass and celery diet you will probably binge eat and fail. Eat less is actually recording calorie intake and just eating less.
Most normal fat people don't even have to do this. If you just quit eating obvious shit like fast food and soda with no other changes or exercises the average westerner could lose 40 pounds without any effort in a year.

    Ketosis and HIIT
This is literally all you need to know to lose fat and it works literally every time guaranteed
Forget about everything else you're not a scientist and you don't understand how your body works

Humans have the capacity to reason and not act solely on primal urges. We know Gluttony, like the other deadly sins, is an innate human desire, but we also know it's destructive. It's through reason that we can fight these desires and develop what we call "discipline". If someone cannot develop discipline, they are no better than an animal.
