There is nothing wrong with lifting to impress women.

There is nothing wrong with lifting to impress women. It is natural for a man make himself more appealing to the opposite sex. If you lift for any other reason, you are likely a homosexual narcissist.

no one that lifts for women ever posts their physique, the only ones that make it are ultra autists that lift because they hate themselves.

I lift so people don't frick with me. I've been embarrassingly dyel and people would harass me and openly mock me. I don't consider myself IST but now that I've gone above average people leave me alone and I even get the odd mire. That's all I wanted. Just to live in peace. I don't care what women think as long as I don't have to hear it.

Either you are the problem or you're very sensitive. I'm 167 cm tall and dyel and nobody's harassing or mocking me.

I'm 32 years old. I've been a NEET for 13 years. I don't meet women outside of exhanging obligatory niceties with cashiers and the like. I smile, nod, and make some sort of noncommittal utterance - nothing that would ever lead to a relationship even if I was Chris Hemsworth.

And even if life was a Pierce Brosnan romcom where you see a girl in a supermarket and she's carrying groceries and you bump into her and she spills them and you try to help her pick them up and you bonk heads and she sees your atheletic physique and feigns concern that she might have a concussion in the hopes that you'll offer to take her the ER in order to spend the evening with you and have an excuse to ask you out for coffee later, what are the odds that I'll meet a woman whose company I'd actually enjoy once the initial infatuation has worn off? At that stage you're just two people coexisting. She better be someone you actually have something in common with and is compatible with you and your daily life goals. I'd rather be single than have a 10/10 gf who'd see my daily walks in the woods as a lazying about and my hobbies a frivolous waste of money and give me shit for "not being a team player." My parents relationship was like that. My dad let himself be a complete doormat to keep the domestic peace. That was much easier than standing by his principles and getting into a huge fight with household dishes sent flying in his general direction and mom pulling out the knife.

There is: its a waste of time. Women don't really care as much as dudes.

This. You should lift in order to impress yourself by seeing what your body is capable of.

Anyone who says girls isnt at least a small motivating factor in lifting is lying or just lacks self awareness

That alone is more of a bonus than it is an actual factor as I don't (want to) interact with other people, so it mostly just ends up being an ego boost. Actual homosexuals and asexuals do exist though.

        >Actual homosexuals and asexuals do exist though.
Anyone implies actual sane humans, not mentally ill morons who've weeded themselves of the gene pool via natural selection

Thats not how natural selection works

I guess on some level everything we do can be traced back to a primal drive to reproduce. I jerk off pretty much every day, so I'm not asexual. But at the same time I prefer to be alone the greater part of the time and wouldn't be happy with a live-in girlfriend. What would we even do together?

And I always found hook-up culture/casual sex intimidating. I never enjoyed it when my friends dragged me along to clubs, and I'm not the kind of person to go out partying and waking up in a stranger's apartment with beer cans and underwear across the floor.

The only kind of relationship I could realistically tolerate would be a friends with benefits type relationship where I meet up with a manic pixie dream girl every Saturday to unload all my emotional baggage onto while drinking and playing FIFA and drinking beer.

Men should lift to impress women.
Because once they start lifting for the wrong reasons, they will eventually see progress. They will be healthier, they will feel better about themselves, and they'll keep lifting, but for all the right reasons now.
