Is it the case though that McDonalds "food" is cheaper than equivalent food from a grocery store? That would in fact be a big deal.

I remember once a scientist figured out that the double cheeseburger on McDonald's dollar menu, against the average hourly wage of an American was the least time needed per calorie in all of human history. By far.

How many pounds of non-organic raspberries do you think this guy eats per meal? I'm thinking 3-4lbs at least if he's getting enough sugar to impair his brain function this bad.

Nope, keep living in the city though. There will be a food shortage for everyone but it is hitting bugman central first.

            >You can't buy jeans for $20! My True Religion(TM) cost $135!!
This is how you sound. If you shop at the more expensive stores, pick the expensive cuts, and buy name brands of course it'll cost more.

            >Muh chicken breasts
            Cope

            >tfw bought mussels at my local asian supermarket for a little over $2 a pound frozen
Combine with literally any halfway decent carb and some veg and you're set.
Any b***h who says that they have to buy McDonalds for themselves and their kids out of necessity is just too lazy to spend literally 30 minutes total preparation to get things set, or isn't patient enough to get their goyslop addicted spawn to try something healthy before childhood obesity sets in.

Mussels are god tier, chili, ginger and lime. Fresh corriander and steam with some white wine, and a little butter. Deeeelish

The best part is that mussel pasta with garlic and white wine sauce is idiotically simple to make. Minimal preparation and inexpensive ingredients, and you can have a meal that will absolutely blow the panties off any girl you're trying to get in bed with.

Behold, the solution to high (perishable) food prices.
Find meat and frozen veggies that are on sale, toss in deep freeze, save for when you need it.
            Simple as.

              Anonymous

              Based and freezerpilled.
Bonus is you can make strong applejack with it too.

Yeah, we have a standing freezer in the garage (much better than a chest because it's easier to organize and find shit). We buy $1200 "freezer packs" from the butcher that have a little bit of everything, vacuum sealed. Lasts about 18 months.

The only downside to this, is you're out a TON of money if the power goes out for an extended time. Which has never happened. But strongly advisable to have a backup generator on hand.

                Anonymous

If you own a car you already own a generator. All you need is a decent inverter, proper length cables, and gas. (Buy 5, 5-gallon gas cans. Every time you are going to fill up your car, empty a can into your car and then fill up both. Next time, empty and refill the next can. So on and so on.... You now have a gas reserve that is probably larger than your vehicle's tank, that is replenished regularly)

            >contains up to 2% of solution of water and vinegar
is this what passes for meat in the states? what the frick
also drumsticks have shit meat/bone ratio, I buy them because they're tasty but usually it comes cheaper to buy chicken thigh meat

              Anonymous

              High skin ratio.
Also just use the bones to make a broth you doofus, if anything it's more a boon than a curse.
It's basically free chicken broth, and if you cook vegetables then boil them in broth rather than water, bam extra tasty. Vegetables are stupidly cheap as well; too bad they all suck for your health. The collagen in the skin is very based.

this is literally what I cook for my dogs lmao enjoy your dog meat

Dog meat (not actual meat of dogs, but meat that would be fed to dogs) is unironically better than goyslop (carbs), except for organ meat.

Southern California, actually. Bought my groceries-- everything to make chicken veg soup, various fruit, even an avocado = $35. I can easily spend that much on Postmates for one meal. Eating out is the all-around unhealthiest thing you can do for yourself.
