That's because you are most likely doing 5 reps... your legs are never going to grow this way. I always found it so ironic I see dudes in the gym doing normal 12 reps for all other muscles and they look good and then they get to legs and the squat is literally 5 reps and they rest for like 3 mins. Lower the weight aim for 10-12 reps and then just progressively overload your squat like any other muscle and your legs will grow. Yeah you can squat 3pl8 but I'd rather squat 1.5pl8 if it means I don't have legs like yours.
Yeah, IST is fricking moronic don’t ever listen to then. When I wad 16 I was doing a 4x12 bro split when I started lifting and I made amazing newbie gains, then I got on IST and they told me I should do 5x5 cuz its better. I listened and did it for 6 months and I barely made any muscle gains just str gains and I quit lifting shortly after cuz it sucked getting stronger but still looking the same.
To be fair, I do have small thighs because I don’t squat because my gym doesn’t have a squat rack, unfortunately, but I’ve have lots of gym goers compliment me on their size. >seated calf raise 180lbs x 6 reps
that tells me absolutely nothing. i do seated calf raise 110kg (~240lbs) for 15 reps. and my calves look whatever, i guess pretty similar to you but it's hard to judge from photos. all about perspective.
Your calves don't need any more work bro. You don't need a squat rack to work thighs. You can clean the barbell from the ground into front squat position, do some high volume work in the 8-12 rep range at like 40-60kg to start with.
Lunges, goblet squats and bulgarian squats are all good too. Don't need squat rack for any of those.

Good advice, thanks. Uni gym also opened now with the fall semester, and it has actual squat racks. I plan to start training legs twice a week after classes.
I think for calves it’s better to do a ton of reps with low or without weight
I do 500 reps in 100 rep series every other day and my shitty calves have improved more than when I trained them like any other muscle
ITT: anons dont know you can use different rep ranges
Seriously morons, do 5x5 one session of the week and then 4x10 the next or something.
This isnt so hard, learn to use your brains.
My legs look better than yours and i never go above 2pl8s
If you've got a big torso, don't forget your legs are squatting that with the weight on the bar. OP might be light up top.
My legs look better than his and I do 160 4x6
feels good to see another guy with imbalanced legs
get a tan I literally thought this was a girls legs
boys are tan and girls are pale?
yes
stop projecting troony.
i wish that was me
>eventually sacks Rome and becomes integral part of its leadership caste
Nothing personnel, medcucks
not the same barbarians and 800 years difference
didn't rome get beat by the pale barbarians tho?
This unironically happens in my med country, I don't know why
>become a spic/Black person
you are already a Hispanic Black person, only in the inside
tan and lose weight
Post bussy

Dont believe this gain goblin holy shit just keep squatting OP

Good for you OP, but you seriously need to start adding calf raises.
my brother I look like a mozzarella too but you need to get some sun. Also do you powerlift and never train hypertrophy?
>these legs struggle to front squat 100kg for 1 rep and literally never do back squats
Nice vmos and separation forming. Try eating more.
I already have to eat so goddamn much just to get to a 300kcal surplus.
Squat 5 plates with these pins
You exceed 200kg, for reps?!? What weight division limited sport do you play?
Have been doing strongman as a u105kg for the last couple of years, very fun.
crazy, they look pretty normal.
is your back and butt strong to make up for it, or what?
Those calves are small as frick, my dude, train them.
>be me
>grew up fat
>lost weight
>retained calf gains
Picture unfortunately doesn’t do justice.
I think maybe your calf muscles only look big here because your thighs are so small by comparison, but perhaps I am wrong.
To be fair, I do have small thighs because I don’t squat because my gym doesn’t have a squat rack, unfortunately, but I’ve have lots of gym goers compliment me on their size.
>seated calf raise 180lbs x 6 reps
To clarify, because I am a tard, I’ve had many people compliment me on the size of my calves.
that tells me absolutely nothing. i do seated calf raise 110kg (~240lbs) for 15 reps. and my calves look whatever, i guess pretty similar to you but it's hard to judge from photos. all about perspective.
Fair enough, each machine can be different, but I do 3-4 sets of calf raises every day I’m at the gym. I also walk a shit ton on my toes.

What's wrong with your calves?

You have discovered GZCLP, anon.
Quads are good. You just got genetically screwed on joint and calf size. Train calves. Also get a bit of sun and tan some. You look awfully pale.
