Anons if you have this you probably have a fungal infection on your scalp. The next hair you have that falls out look at its base, if it has a ball of yellowish stuff around it that's fungus holding together skin oils. Use an anti-fungal shampoo for a month and your hair will look much better.
Thanks. Will try although I have no idea if I even have a problem.
I thought I had male pattern baldness for years. Turns out I just had fucking atheletes foot on my scalp
What does that do? Does it cause diffuse hair thinning? Because that could explain my situation. I do get a lot of flaking and always did.
so does the hair regrow after it clears up? that would be cool. but i expect not
My hair is slowly getting thicker now that it's gone. I'll post a comparison after another month to see how much growth has really happened.
My hair was falling out unevenly across the sides of my head but heavily at the front where the skin was red and flaky.
Same but still get on finasteride or dutasteride. DHT in adulthood is a trash hormone.
When I scratch my head some white stuff comes under my nails, is this the same? I always keep my hair short (haircut with guard #2) and wash 2-33 times a week, and still nothing.
I definitely have the last 3 types of flakes. Always had dandruff as a kid but hair was fairly healthy. This shit is annoying and gross.
>fungal
Ive had trichomycosis on my pubes(mainly gooch) for like 5 years now and only just found out that peroxide every day is an effective treatment. Shaving + peroxide daily.
I wonder if the two are related?
I can’t imagine peroxide is good for your head hair though.
Ketaconazole shampoo works. They make it for dogs and it's like $9 for a ton of the stuff.
I’ll look into it
I also get it in my eyebrows. Beard too at times a little bit. I use head n shoulders clinicals strength too but it barely seems to help. Makes a difference if I use it daily but I read that it’s bad to shampoo every single day. Hmm ironically this started after I switched to 2-3x a week shampooing.
medicinally or not you should really be using shampoo as little as possible, unreal how many men don't realise it and shampoo every day
Because we have greasy hair every day.
it's a chicken or egg question, if people cut down they'd notice they wouldn't start to get greasy until after a few days (ofc still showering)
can humans use dogs shampoo tho?
Yeah, you’ll grow a tail slightly but other than that no sides
I get this in my eyebrows and mustache, use Head and Shoulders clinical strength so dont really notice on my scalp
Have tried hydro-cortisone, works somewhat but hard to get onto the skin through hair
Stress related. Speaking from expereince, try toning down your cortisol levels.
I don't have dandruff but I've always had an itchy scalp and kind of white spots that appear in my hair, it's not lice as I've taken lice killer several times and it's not fixed the issue and I've never found a live one anyway, my mbp is pretty bad and I'm only 21, reckon it could be this?
>cures your dermatitis without castrating you
apple cider vinegar is good too. also cut down on soda and other sugar goyslop cause the fungus thrives on that
Fruits ok? I only eat 2 banan per day.
better than the refined white table sugar yeah but if skin/hair doesnt improve id cut that out too just to be sure
>apple cider vinegar is good too. also cut down on soda and other sugar goyslop cause the fungus thrives on that
I've been suHispanicious of this for years. I would get a rash sometimes around Christmas when you get out of classes and go hard on candy, beer and soda.
Doctors never recommend to cut sugar. They just give you a cream.
I have never gotten a rash while fasting or keto or eating clean. Always when I'm doing some heathen eating.
yeah makes sense, doctors mostly just wanna sell you a pill to treat the symptom instead of curing the cause. cant make money with healthy patients
More like chemically burns and permanently ruins
Fag
Vaping did it to me. I stopped vaping, it stopped.
I got my seborrheic dermatitis under control with a tea tree oil cleanser.
bros how long should I use nizoral for? the bottle I got from the pharmacy never gave a timeline for discontinuing use, and all the dudes online that use it for hairloss never post about how long you should use it for or any negative effects of going on it for too long
Selenium Sulfide Shampoo does the trick. I use Selsun.
with stuff like this usually like 3-4 weeks and then scale down to zero
Where do I buy antifungal head and shoulders doesn't work
All commercial anti-dandruff products are marketed with no guarantee they work.
The only thing that does work is going to a dermatologist and diagnosing whats happening on the microbiome level and sorting it out.
I'm in Canada there is one dermatologist in my entire province
Selenium sulfide works but you will have to use it your whole life still
I have these tiny dry flakes on my face sometimes eap after I shave wtf so I do for that
Some anons posted in a similar thread a few weeks ago that sea water helps tremendously. Would washing my hair using salt water work too?
I have seborrheic dermatitis, diagnosed from a real doctor from 15 years. Ketoconazol and similar shampoo just mildy aliviate it. I still have a red area that moves around my head each week, no matter what, and I have A LOT of dandruff
see
i have 5 on my balls and ass too and it fucking sucks
