Why do you expect your body to go and put in all the time and effort to synthesize muscle when you're not doing anything that it needs it for? well, ive been training since 2018 and my lifts suck and i have so muscle. even though i eat enough protein and lift hard following proper programs with consistency i am smaller and weaker than the average person lifting like 1/2 as long. so yeah
it might be good for you to leave this board for a couple of months to see if you feel better about yourself. you proved your point, genetics are very important and if you deny that you are delusional but it would be good for you if you make life altering decisions while in a better state of mind

you definitely have some muscle there. you just started with fat already on your body, so compared to a skinny guy your gains just aren't going to be as noticeable. your shoulders actually look good imo. if you want to lose fat faster, you could consult with your PCP or a dietician if you haven't already. they'll help you make a meal plan for weight loss that also allows for muscle gain. slow and steady wins the race brother.
