      moron a stick of butter is 810 calories. If you eat that alone you’ll probably feel sick and really full. Why is it that I can eat shit tons of rice or pasta or any carb heavy food basically forever till I get fat?

      Yet I can eat 3 steaks and not even think about food for a whole day and I only ate about 1200 calories?

      We’re the only animals on Earth that cannot regulate body fat with a regular diet. It’s because we all eat a majority of carbs when that is not how humans evolved to eat. Eat what you’re supposed to (no, you’re not a fucking ruminant) and you’ll see it’s really hard to gain weight on low carb (not necessarily keto).

      Go and try to eat 2k calories on butter and steak and you’ll be sick and full way before that.

          Correct, except that would take you 3 hours and you’ll only get a fraction of the amount of healthy fats, vitamins, and nutrients you would get from a stick of butter.

    the problem I have with keto is that you can't eat normally. Independently of what our ancestors did as nomads or whatever, men are cultural animals. You are not really supposed to just munch on a piece of meat or eat a stick of butter. All cultures' cuisine have dishes that involve fat, carbs, and protein. Doing a quick keto cut for a couple weeks is doable, but eat like this for months and months seems not sustainable for me. Solely for this CICO seems superior. We are meant to have a variety of foods in our diet.
