why? he's the only bodybuilder i've seen that actually teaches skinny guys how to bulk up and get swole realistically. his meal plans got me from 140lbs to 170lbs in less than a year. most bodybuilders on youtube are either genetic freaks or are roided morons who say dumb shit like "just eat fish bro"
On the flipside this guy will never get a 4+pl8 bench natty, no matter how big he gets
Another more extreme example is the dutch giant who is 7'2", dude can't squat more than 1.5pl8 due to how long his legs are but he still has ~30" thighs
It’s true. I’m 6’4 and can barely back squat 2 plates but I’ve got massive thighs from years of cycling, front squats and Bulgarian split squats instead

I'm 6'5 skeleton and I can bench 2pl8 for reps. Didn't watch OPs gay ass video but it's probably a CNS/form issue more than anything. Also not like he has a huge chest anyways but yeah a bench under 2pl8 is pathetic for that size.
he's been training since 2017 lmao. i hit 2 plates for 3 after 14 months of training

dude isnt a giant nor he is malnourished, a barely above bodyweight bench after 2 years is embarrassing
especially as a fitness """"""influencer"""""
I think he's famous; 2mil subscribers and averages half a million views, because he's a better representative of the average person.
You can talk shit about jesse james west, alex eubanks, lexx lyttle, and will tennyson, but those guys have well developed bodies and are pretty strong while being lean.
Joe has been training for 5+ years and he isn't big or strong. He's also a framelet.
There's a niche for everybody.
I think he's a necessary part of the fitness industry. Even if one has subpar genetics; improving themselves is till far better than wallowing in self pity and defeatism.
The fun thing is that in the eye of women, Fazer has the best genetics out of all of them because he's 6'3" with a decent face. Also probably looks the biggest when they stand next to each other
Alex Eubank is 5'9" and Will Tennyson is 5'11". Vs Fazer who is 6'3". I'm deducting their 1" of e-statting here btw, these are likely evening/afternoon heights

Eubank looks 2" shorter than Will Tennyson, who is 5'11" night height
Verdict: Eubank is 5'9" in the evening, 5'10" out of bed at most
kek he definitely does not look the biggest.
I agree that a lot of women might pick him just for height + women don't give a fuck about your chest insertions, they just care about abs so wouldn't even differentiate that much between all these dudes
but Joe is small compared to all the ones the OP mentioned. Just look at him in a shirt in a video. He looks pretty small, especially for an influencer. Although he's grown a lot in the last year I'd say
It's just ottermode, no need to get angry about but that's what normies view as fit
It's probably the reason why he gets views at all, physique is very mediocre but he's 6'3" (6'4 frauded as all fitness influencers / athletes do by a bit) with zoomer-gazed looks&haircut
If you're getting strong for functionality, the bench press is a mostly useless exercise that helps you with very little in the real world.
If you're lifting to look big, the bench press is far less important than inclines and a litany of pec lifts like flys to name one.
If you're lifting to look ottermode cut/ripped/desirable to women then the bench press does practically nothing for you as well and you're better off with inclines and flys.
Please tell me what the point of having a really big bench press number is other than to say my number is bigger than your number.
Bench is an all around strong upper body compound. I’m not sure why everyone has gone for incline since incline db press has better activation and neglecting mid/lower pec is overall very bad for development.
>If you're getting strong for functionality, the bench press is a mostly useless exercise that helps you with very little in the real world.
Builds upper body pushing strength and is a useful accessory for any pushing or throwing sport >If you're lifting to look big, the bench press is far less important than inclines and a litany of pec lifts like flys to name one.
Pec flys are inferior to bench in developing the pecs. So you can’t develop a big sternal head if you don’t do flat bench. >If you're lifting to look ottermode cut/ripped/desirable to women then the bench press does practically nothing for you as well and you're better off with inclines and flys.
A big chest ranks either 1st or 2nd as most attractive muscle group to women: https://bonytobeastly.com/most-attractive-male-body-survey-results/#6-shoulders-vs-chest, https://www.drfelix.co.uk/most-attractive-body-parts/. You can’t develop a big chest without the flat bench >Please tell me what the point of having a really big bench press number is other than to say my number is bigger than your number.
If you are powerlifter, strongman, shotputter, football player, bodybuilder or someone training for general strength and size you need to flat bench in some capacity
It's down to leverages. With bench, the ribcage also plays a big part - if you have a barrel chest your ROM is far reduced, making the bench a stronger lift
All the strong benchers have t-rex arms and comparatively huge ribcages, the arm length/height isn't the end-of-all predictor seeing as ~6'5" Kirill Sarychev was the former WR holder, but he has comparatively short arms vs a huge chest despite the height. And these days it's ~6'1" Julius Maddox who also has short arms and has a huge chest. Though, at the juiced WR levels people are gonna be a bit taller due to the roids allowing them to fill out better. For natties, I'm gonna bet on the short stubby-armed guy that has the proportions of Gimli to have a huge bench press, and someone with longer limbs to suck at it
He does it wrong and he has no muscle mass. Leverage is certainly a thing, it excuses you for not being the world record holder. It does not excuse a 2pl8 bench with a 6'4" frame. That comes down to sucking and having no muscle.
Well, it atleast explains how he has an almost 5pl8 pull and still barely benches 2pl8
He's ottermode which sucks for strength, will need to gain some mass (he's likely not gonna be able to put on much more lean muscle mass after 5 years, but if he gets to 20ish% bodyfat he can probably gain more body size / fluff which automatically carries over to higher lifts)
Unless you’re talking about whether you’ll be able to reach a 400 or 500 bench, leverages do not fucking matter. Someone like Jamal browner who’s built for deadlifting STILL benches 500. This dyel in op is just weak and his chest is shit. He just works out once in a while and knows how to promote his videos.
Of course they matter, they will just shift the proportions of the lifts. If the guy in the OP wouldn't be afraid of gaining some fat he would probably see a 6pl8 deadlift before a 3pl8 bench. It's the same reason why Isley has a shit bench
Are you talking about op guy? According to his own video he’s 80 kg at 6”4. Although I doubt the height measurement as he’s with 2 other dudes in the video who are essentially the same height.
At 6”1 I was at 80kg with around 15% bf after ONE year. this guy has at least 20kg more mass he can gain. And if he’s actually taller then probably even more like 25-27kg.
He’s just making the mistake everyone makes, to neglect the lifts they are shit at and only do your best ones, further solidifying his shit bench and growing the gap.

You're assuming that everyone can achieve the same ffmi, which is not true. Given that he seems to have lifted fot a few years, he doesn't have much left in the tank, even if he didn't train optimally.
Also, the guy will definitely not be able to gain 25 kg of lean mass without juicing. He can be 25kg heavier, sure, but most natties will not even gain 25kg of actual dry muscle tissue throughout their whole lifting career

The guy in OP just isn't made for lifting heavy, if he was he would reach 2.5-3pl8 range easily in 1-2 years without even focusing on strength. Thing is, genetics vary wildly even at the same height - you would be shocked to find out about the level of strength gifted pro Strongmen had before even stepping foot into the gym. At the same time, there's people with daintier frames like the guy in the OP, and they will never turn into peak natty 25 ffmi beasts mass-wise

I have 6’3 armspan at 5’8.5, my leverages are probably worse than his yet I bench 255lbs paused after just over a year, he just has bad muscle genetics
5'5, 130lbs can bench 145 for 7 reps started going to the gym early december but i did calisthenics at home before, could do 20+ dips and a LOT of push ups before even going to the gym

Early december to now is nothing in terms of time lifting. After 1-2 years it will become more evident at which strength level you peak out (without gaining bodyweight) as at that point your CNS should be properly primed

hypertrophy training instead of strength training... There's a reason you don't see bodybuilders at powerlifting meets
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
so 3x12?
maybe, some BBs do as many as 20 reps. Don't forget drop sets and all the other additional stuff
moron, do strength until you can bench 225 for reps. Then switch to hypertrophy for a while, then strength again, etc.
train strength until you get strong (1/2/3/4) then switch to whatever the fuck you want
When will you morons understand that strength is all about time under tension? Reps/sets be damned
I meant to say hypertrophy. It's all about time under tension. This is why even some callisthenic dudes get massive chests.
This only applies to natty btw. If you're juicing like the moron in the OP then everything simply works.

Anon I could bench 405 for 5 when I was in my BBing phase and 95% of my training was dumbells, hammer machines or incline bench for high reps.
This sarm abusing zoomer is just a weak kid with no chest.
My gym bro was an NPC champ and he could bench 495 for reps after sets of 10 with 3pl8, 4pl8 with short rest

Cameras lie, retard. Go outside.
He's super skinny and lightweight for his height.
this
6'4 180lbs after a few years of training is astonishing. I'm also 6'4; last year when i was ottermode I was 190lbs.
Well he is under 25. I’m 6’4 and before I was 25, the most I weighed was 70-75kg but I was a skinny nerd
he looks a lot skinnier in the video than in that picture, I think it's shooped
the way to look bigger in pics is by standing really far from the camera. it's focal length magic
Where am I? Why isn't anyone pointing out his obviously underdeveloped chest? He has big arms and shoulders, his pecs are tiny in comparison.
If you ever looked at IST bodies, most people here don’t work pec correctly
His chest is not big. He has big arms and is lean, but this is actually quite a small chest for a 2 pl8

Nick wright is a manlet plus his early videos were shit quality, but I still prefer his 2014-2015 stuff to this guy, who like Jesse west makes too much muh dik content
He probably actually does them correctly.
Not a meme answer, 90% of the guys I see at the gym don't fucking know how to bench press, they just think they do and trivialize the motion.
