        What makes that picture so impressive looking? The huge lats, shoulders and v taper?

        They pretty much just gave him some arms and shoulders, added lats and trimmed his waist for a taper, and gave him a tan.

          ok, posted that to clarify that I swim, I'm not a technical swimmer, don't care for technique as it's not super relevant for what I do for fun, but I am abnormally fast due to having the stereotypical north sea coastal monkey pheno.

      Lmao that's what I was thinking. You think an Olympian of his caliber was chugging energy drinks and fricking his heart redlining his system 24/7? Jesus the media is either moronic or knows the masses are moronic. At most he might have had a coffee in the morning, but beyond that you need to be able to get good sleep. I'm sure he indulged in sugars to provide him with his energy needs. 8,000 calories would not be out of the question.

        luckily you don't have to train like an olympic swimmer to look like one, they don't look like that because they swim, they swim because they look like that, everyone that doesn't have the specific skeletal structure required to be fast in the water will never be competitive in swimming.

          Yeah I have structure that's more conducive to bodybuilding. I'm white, 6'3" with a short torso and big heavy legs and I don't store much bodyfat. In high school swim class I was one of the 2 or 3 who just couldn't swim. It took too much energy to keep myself afloat with so little fat and torso surface area. It's not that every white person can swim, just most tend to be built a way that's good for swimming.
          I'm built like pic related though.

      How is that 12000 kcal? There are only 9 food items on there of which only the pasta and pizza are probably above 1k calories
