    what's the point of repping it like that? Why not just do the pullover at it's optimum weight then do the bench at it's optimum weight instead of burning out the tricep and making it fail before it's useful for anything else?

        I think that's riding too much on the reputation of the pullover which is affectionately called "the upper body squat". Like I said repping it like a bench after the pullover is just burning out tricep before anything else. Idk about you but I've never struggled to get enough tricep volume.
